There is no way you can know the bounty that will not end in the scam. From my experience, there is no certain way of knowing a bounty campaign that will end in scam but I am always wary of bounty campaign that always allocates a large sum of money in form of token for a campaign. Many of them are dead on arrival. Also, I have realized that project that gets listed on fair IEO platforms such as Livecoin, Probit etc. and also have bounty are still better to compare to other bounties that get IEO listed on some exchange platform that is known to be promoting shady projects such as Latoken.

Good Day Everyone......
Upon reading on various topic these past few days and referring to my friends advise to choose the correct bounty, i'm a little bit confuse on how can we identify they correct bounty campaign to join with? Are there any series of steps to identify if the project is fake or not? Do we have a checklist on how we can confirm if the project is going to be a fraud?
As a newbie like us, what can you recommend for us to get rid of those project since a lot of project begins to collapse since BTC is souring high again?
All you thoughts will be beneficial to us.
Regards.

In my opinion, this is very easy to determine. You do not even need to spend a long time and just analyze the telegram group of any project. If she is alive people are real then it means that the interest of the community is great. The whole point is that any cryptocurrency project is interested in an active and lively community. From here, draw your own conclusions.

I would suggest you to avoid these bounty programs in the first place, be it legit or scam. You will be spending a lot of time doing these bounty tasks, but in the end, what you will earn won't be worth the time you would be spending on completing those tasks. If the project turns out to be scammed, you won't even earn a single penny. Even if the project turns out to be legit, the amount of people joining the program will end up reducing the rewards you will be receiving. Try doing something more better instead of wasting your time doing bounty programs.

Unfortunately, there is no ideal strategy for choosing a successful bounty project. Knowledge comes with experience. The most important thing is to choose projects that have a finished product and a good reputation. This will increase the chances of success.

No there's no checklist and if you do see any don't get decieve as most project listed there are probably done as a means of paid advertisment. Previously you can easily use the managers to identify quality campaign but this days that's not the case since greed has become a common problem in the community and also some projects disguise themselves as legitimate projects, pay huge sum of money to hire this repute campaign manager so their reputation can draw in more patronizers and reach a greater audience so their scam can have an impact. You just have to be vigilant and apply caution as 90% of the project carrying out bounty are scam while the other 9% will turn out to be shitcoins that can't give you any rewardable return for your time invested in promoting the campaign. The last 1% are the legit ones and there are very rare to find. You just have to be among the lucky few that get an opportunity to participate.

Even the highest scam can appear as legit from the start it takes years of planning to perfect this act. As the cryptocurrency market expands, lots of new scam mechanisms are adopted daily. It is best everyone joins campaigns based on their gut feelings because a scam can look real from the onset and a real project can look like scam as well from the onset.

Actually it is quite difficult to determine which campaigns are truly legit until everything goes according to the rules and agreements that have been set. In addition to focusing on project selection, newbies must also understand that bounty campaigns are very risky, it could be that your hard work in promoting projects is not paid properly, so understand that in advance so as not to expect too high so you can survive even though disappointed. When the market is not conducive, the risk is greater for joining bounties, because it can affect the market acceptance of newly issued coins or tokens. It's better to choose a campaign that gives rewards in BTC or ETH, or choose projects that have a wide network and are supported by companies or influential people, make sure the projects you support are not included in the scam accusation.

There are a lot of things to be considered before joining bounty. Is the team have the domain experience to deliver base on the roadmap? What are the use cases of the project? Does it really need to be tokenized? Who will be there target users?

I do everything manually, check the project whitepaper, social media if their team is visible and active on conferences, also if they an ongoing or coming IEO on a trusted exchanges, of course you need yo verify to the exchange social media if its really true. Already listed project is good but it depends on the volume, project that has already a working platform or product is much better. But doing all those things is not guaranteed that you will not be scammed it will just minimized the risk.

Actually, there have been several threads that discuss this topic, about choosing the bounty and ignoring scam projects. You may see some of these thread links: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3063172.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4355293.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4322799.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3256971.0etc And there are still many others. You can use the search menu to find out. To note: Your rank is still a newbie. If you want to join the Signature campaign, better to increase your rank at first. You may not need to focus on the bounty campaign. Ranking up first will let you find more chances to get the legit bounty, moreover the bounty with BTC or exact coin payment. Read more about it on this forum. Actually, the basic way to get the legit bounty can be analyzed first easily from the Bounty Manager. Choose the one with a professional and trusted BM. Additionally, get to know the team of the project, exchange to the listing, and also its token schedule. Never forget also about the community channel where you can find out about the project directly.y

If you don’t know how to identity fake/scam project then try to find out good bounty manager.they are experienced and they always promote legit project.otherwise you can make research that project before joining.Try to find out orginal team members, there whitepaper. What is purpose of coin etc etc.also try to find out that is it mlm, ponzi scheme project or not.I think it is enough to find scam or fake project (only for joining bounty campaign not for investment).

It is really hard to identify a good project since they can just easily fake their whitepaper information. Maybe the only thing you can do is to check the background of the developer if they have successful projects before. It might help you to recognize if the current project of that developer is gonna be successful or not.

There's no significant rules how to find legit bounty project, classic problem without solution. Many tips already exist but there's no guarantee we take the right bounty program. I think ( as newbie ) you should join several program with basic rules, such as developer team quality, realistic project target and coin allocation. Write your activity until find the best guide for you, learn it direct into field because reading is not helping anymore, just go do it and learn from it.

A well organized and great project idea can be a failure at the end so it's not possible to predict which bounty will be 100% profitable. But one thing you can do and that follows some popular Bounty manager and their channel who has a good reputation in this sector. Their project can also be failed but the chance of success is high. So stop joining every bounty and before joining any bounty check out about the bounty manager who runs that bounty.

Majority of bounties nowadays are just scam and looking for legit project is a bit hard to do. Sometimes even the most promising one is ending up as scam or failed project for some reason.
Do an extensive research thats what you can do to spot a good project, but what to look for? There are many factors that you have to look into, like the team, whitepaper, roadmap, the overall concept, use cases and the manager because sometimes a reputed manager is an indication of a bounty to be legit but its not an assurance hence it solely depends on your decision whether to participate or not.

well, right now there is no bounty campaign that can be relied on because there have been many cases of bounty campaigns that are scam even if they are not scam then the price at the exchange is very cheap so the bounty campaign is no longer good if they make payments using tokens, but bounties good campaign if they make payments using bitcoin and the bounty manager has saved funds for payment in the first week then it will be very good and will avoid scams. but it requires a high enough ranking level to be able to participate.

If you're evaluating which campaign to choose you can check the usual attributes, projects team, use case, website, social media presence, and benchmark etc. and if all these check out then the project can be of good quality so make sure you do your due diligence

As you are asking suggestion for a newbie, so, I would suggest researching well before jumping in any bounty! Try to verify a project's team member, their partnership and media news coverage, if everything looks perfect then verify their social activities, read their whitepaper, I hope you will then realize which bounty is worthy to do. When I was a newbie, I kept following high ranked people but later I started researching on my own and now I feel okay.

No one can safe newbies from bounty mistakes, I wasted a whole year trying to figure out what makes a project better than the other, I never knew anything or had a teacher who is ready to show me the way but after couples of mistakes my eye gets more opened and now my research is enough for me

Indeed, it is very difficult for us to be able to distinguish between good projects and fraud projects because both are very well designed and fraud projects also look very perfect like real projects, I think you should ask for recommendations from forum members who are more senior and experienced in bounties and of course it is better to joining a bounty project that is handled by a trusted and experienced manager, so that the project may not be a scam because the manager certainly will not risk positive trust just to handle a scam project.
