As you may know we have been talking with sponsors to help us put on a second season of Take My Bitcoins. We had a very successful season 1 of 22 episodes where we gave away over 84 Bitcoins to 280 people in 20 different countries.
But gathering sponsors and then getting all the legal done takes time, especially with our low budgets and no sales staff. Our crew even agreed to work for free to keep the show going, but we thought it was better to do this right. Our crew works hard and deserves to be paid (in Bitcoins!) And you the fan tune in week after week and deserve the best show and the most Bitcoins we can give away.
Last night after we gave away Bitcoins on Twitter, a fan wanted to know when we were coming back and how he could help. He then amazingly sent us 3 Bitcoins so we can do a show on Oct 23rd.
We have been doing web content for over 15 years, (5 years full time as Streamin' Garage) not only our own original shows but shows for other networks and celebrities as well- and we have never seen such a giving community as that of the Bitcoin/ alt-coin world.
Our entire goal starting this off was to introduce crypto-currency to "the masses" (adoption) we have done that and we have also become part of a special community who has embraced us, made us laugh and now have helped us thru a rough time.
