Can Bitcoin and Altcoins bullish together

If you look at the history of price movements in Bullrun, bitcoin prices are often pumped up by most potential altcoins. This is the most awaited moment for crypto enthusiasts to "harvest" after a long dry season. Most of the members above also have the same opinion.

It's too far to take the whole history as an example if bitcoin and altcoin can do that together. If OP is good enough by watching the market in the last week and I believe he has already seen the bullish trend that happened with bitcoin and altcoin. When bitcoin gets pumped and almost whole are getting bullish trend in term of dollar value without a significant increase in the bitcoin price for altcoin.

I think this is due to delays and also there are so many things that we need to consider when speculating the movement in the market.
But for sure only popular altcoins in the market could pump with bitcoin at the same time.

Bitcoin is the only process from where coinmarketcap can run. Bitcoin and altcoins could be bullish together if first Bitcoin bullish. Altcoins is just following Bitcoin and doesn't follow Bitcoin when cryptocurrency in bear. You can't expect same bullrun as 2018 until halving of Bitcoin.

The bitcoin and altcoin has a relationship with each other. If bitcoin dumps its price, the value of the altcoin might become affected also. When the bitcoin rises up, altcoin will for surely gonna rise up also. It is moving together ever since. Altcoin is dependent to the price of the bitcoin so, if bitcoin rises up, higher chance that altcoin will also rise up.

from altcoin above, MBL and COTI performed by the binance community voting and listing.their community response it good and start buying MBL, but unfortunately price down again after voting stopped and win. this is not organic growth but more than pump and dumped only. we need coins that growth naturally.

I already know that they some altcoins are going up with Bitcoin. Mainly the top altcoins will increase in price with Bitcoin. If you have been checking their price you will notice that they have been following Bitcoin movement, they keep going up whenever Bitcoin is going up. Yesterday when Bitcoin was going up, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and some other altcoins increased as well.

So, I believe that when the Bitcoin bull run comes these coins will also increase in price with it. The only altcoins that are going more likely to be a disappointment are the altcoins on the lower because a lot of investors are going to dump them and rush into Bitcoin lol.

Saying that popular altcoins or many other altcoins rise or fall at the same time with bitcoin is not entirely accurate because from my observation, it's just a proportional adjustment, altcoin does not seem to increase, even decrease when bitcoin goes up, we just need to look at capitalization, we will understand that is the truth. Market capitalization is too little, it is not enough for all, bitcoin increases, altcoins need to decrease to create a balance and support capital for bitcoin to go up then capital will return to altcoin, both cannot go together on a moment

this is a very interesting question because every time I see the news on the news channels related to bitcoin and most of the time Is when the price of bitcoin increases in value, what I see are also very optimistic forecasts about altcoins. I believe that today you must have seen this:

Bitcoin has over 60% dominance over the crypto market therefore increase in the price of bitcoin influences that of altcoins also. However, we are likely to see a different trend this year. Most altcoins failed after the market started crashing in 2018 so people are now going mostly all in on Bitcoin. I would not be surprise if Bitcoin bull run does not affect most altcoins this time around. Maybe the ones with good use case and working products might move along. Coins like $LINK, $DIVI, $ONE.

Yes, I accept that the start of this year has showed us some good progress for bitcoins as well as some major altcoins. I think this is something which would soon trigger the bull runs as mass number of investors would turn themselves towards the cryptocurrencies. Altcoins also have started growing with bitcoins and majority of the times I see graphs for bitcoins as well as some major altcoins going in a similar direction.

For example, I trade with bitcoins as well as etherum but each time the graph for both of these coins move similarly. This might be something which is completely opposite than what OP says though.

In 2020 it started out like that, and last year during 2019 peak at april/may times it was like that as well and in 2017 peak times all coins saw increase together as well. However in 2018 for example whenever bitcoin increased a bit the price of altcoins went lower, in 2019 when bitcoin stayed high the altcoins started to go down as well.

So, as you can see there is a lot of examples of bitcoin going up while altcoins going down and there are as many examples of bitcoin and altcoins going up together as well. However we have no idea which one will be the next one, maybe next time bitcoin goes up altcoins will be there with it or maybe it will go down, no way we can know which one we will have.

Thats true, sometimes btc and alts are soaring high together but there are times they were not.

But the recent price increase of the market both are showing significant growth that makes investors think if we're already heading to bull run.

However this month the market turns downward again which make it hard to predict what might happen in the next movement.
