Currently people only care about new coins because these are new options for everyone in this market. I think everyone will have different investment strategies and certainly not everyone can be lucky to make a profit from this market. Personally, I sold all the coins that I currently hold and will patiently continue to wait to be able to buy at a cheaper price.

People only care about a coin if they think it can make them fast money,,, this does not take into account if the coin is new or old. Of course with a new coin there is the extra greed to be in before everyone else and dump at profit on the guys who were too slow, but we all know this does not end well at all for the majority of people!

Of course there will never be a good ending when investing quickly because very few investors can make a profit from new coins and the value is often very volatile so it will be difficult to predict the price of that coin. I think many people will still choose to invest safer because this is the best way to make a profit and the market is currently growing very well so there is not much risk when investing.

A short term investment means a big risk that will be gotten by the investors. We can try to go back to the rule of investment. The only winner will be the people who were doing proper analysis and joined in the right investment. The volatility is not a big problem to predict the market but the real problem should be it's not easy to determine the market sentiment as sometimes it didn't give impact to the price.

Not everyone is like you think they are. Sure there are people who do want to make money as quickly as possible but there are also tons of people who want to have a portfolio of crypto currency and they want to rebalance it constantly and increase the capital etc to keep it interesting.

I literally started all of this with zero money and now have thousands in my portfolio all thanks to keep investing into stuff long term when I trust them, sometimes I did sold stuff that I heard bad news about but I still have few coins that I have been holding for years now. That is exactly what some people prefer and that is exactly what the speculation is basically against, if you do speculation and some person do not care about it and just holds it for years, speculators will not profit thanks to them.

Instead of falling for tricks, it is good to hold the coin for some more time because now the market situation is completely unpredictable, which we might see the fluctuation continues till the end of the Feb, but with the pump and dump it is impossible for us to predict which coin will increase their prices.

I agree with that opinion, but you should also look at the opposite site so you will see that it's also possible to manipulate the market that would eventually cause a bull run. Take it for example what happen in 2017, IIRC< bitcoin starts with less $1,000 price but almost hit $20,000 by the end of the year.

Every investments must be taken carefully, and if you could do some analysis, fundamentals and such, it would totally be fine for you, but that doesn't mean stuff won't go bad/unfortunate, sometimes things go on a direction we least we expect it would go through. So, you gotta need to be careful, and disciplined always not to take a bait quickly though. Anyway, 2020 seems different especially last January, market stay stagnant, gladly in decent price compare to what it did have last January 2019. Well, price are going sideways but it ain't totally far apart from what its origin point. Seems promising, right? Well, we still have an incoming huge event everyone waiting for though, makes me wonder where might price would lead up, after then.

No, No, I don't know exactly. and I guess nobody no it exactly. I have heard someone said one day that ''crypto is harder than a girl'' So the price prediction does not an easy cake. Without a whale, we can not predict this short time period like 6,12,24 hours. But I think the crypto market will provably pump hard in the near future. And maybe the high time is around the bitcoin next halving.

In line with the statement above mate, nothing of those happened after several hours or even days. Altcoins market didn't respond to the expectations of many people, and it doesn't showed any progress at all. One of the reason was due to bitcoin's declining value, that still continue to happen lately. If there's a possibility for bitcoin to recover at a certain situation, I guess altcoins will always be the second to pump and increase a good percentage.

The market is seeing a major correction today and I believe the uptrend will soon return as the crypto market is still the best place to invest during this period.
