Hello, I've done dumbest thing I could ever do. I left Cloud2.0 to and send assetets newly created wallet ImToken, i supposed to receive my ETH in 7-14 days. However something distracted me when creating account and didn't save file with written mnemonic phrases. My question is " Will i need these to send crypto to another wallet/binance ? "

no , you dont need mnemonic phrase for sending you will only need that or privatekey every time you want to open it in other wallet or if the wallet is not sign in. As long as you will never logout the wallet you still have the data in your apps and you will recieve your eth payment in that wallet. But i suggest do not use that wallet again after you recieve the eth and transfer it to much secured wallet address thay you secured the privatekey.

Don't worry about files with mnemonic phrases, because to open an ImToken wallet you can pass privatekey and the password you created when registering an account, so you can send and receive any tokens from others without having to ignore files with mnemonic phrases that you forgot to save.

you can not worry. CLOUD2.0 is a scam project that most likely will not return you any money. I have not yet seen any evidence that people received their money back. I've been waiting for about a month for my money to come

I only recommend you to create a new wallet and save the private key and mnemonic frashe, because for me it is very important by holding both of them, you will feel safe for your future. Send your ETH to the wallet that you just made, this is only a suggestion.

On your Imtoken App, just use your password you had use when creating the wallet. Click profile, click manage wallets on top left hand side, then select any of the wallets you want to retrieve. Export keystore. copy the keystore and save somewhere that is protected. I don't recommend you export the Private keys because if not well kept, all your asset can be stolen. While Keystore still need your password to decrypt your wallet. You may want to transfer out your asset and create an entire new wallet. Never save your Mnemonic phrase online or your private keys.

You don't need mnemonic phrases to send asset from a wallet to another, depending on the wallet you only need a password which is set by you on the onset. I presume the wallet is still in your phone, go to your settings right away and save your mnemonic phrases, it is your security over the wallet and should not be taken for granted; in fact it is the first thing you should save or written down before sending assets or crypto the wallet. Mnemonic phrases is used to import wallet should the need arises.

The best method is to keep the parts of the private key or mnemonic phrase on the different storages. If the user still has the access to the wallet, exporting the private key of the specific altcoin(in this case ETH) will solve all this mess. Next time OP should take the backup stage seriously before using the online wallets frequently.

You are lucky you are not importing your wallet, else it would have been mandatory you have it or the private key, as long as you have your password you can do every transaction you need, be it receiving or sending, but I will advice you send out coins to a new wallet where you can control ur private key or mnemonic phrase

First, do you still save the private key or keystore+password of your wallet? If yes, it is still no problem and you can back up your mnemonic phrase. Basically, there are several ways to access your imtoken wallet: 1. Using Private Key If you forgot or lost your PK, you can still access the wallet and then retrieve the PK again by loading it using your mnemonic phrase or Keystore +password. 2. Using the mnemonic phraseIf you lost your mnemonic phrase, you can still be able to access the wallet using your PK or keystore+password and then make a backup of your mnemonic code. 3. Using Keystore and passwordYou need to use these at once. Noted that you must save the password, if you lost your password, then you can't access using your Keystore. You can also still access the wallet using a private key or mnemonic phrase. Special notes: - As long as you still save and have private key/mnemonic phrase / keystore+password, you are still safe and can access, control, and manage your wallet. But it is better to save those all and make backup to ensure the security. - If you lose one of them, you can still access, manage and control your wallet using the two others. - It is important, NEVER give or show your private key, mnemonic phrase, keystore+password to other people even they try to help you. Those are very secret. - Losing all the data/information means that you lose your wallet. More completed information, you can read in this article https://help.hotbit.io/hc/en-us/articles/360000376554-Imtoken-Wallet-Address-Password-Private-Key-Mnemonic-Code-Keystore-#correct me if I'm wrong. thanks

I heard cloud 2.0 is a scam, you aren't really at loss here and please make sure you always keep your private key or mnemonic seed safe just in case you lost your phone

Honestly you don't need recovery phrases to send coins and tokens but you do need it to get access to your coins and tokens when you uninstall or delete your wallet or if ever your phone got stolen the only way to recover your coins is with the recovery phrases

Where are the sources of news that cloud 2.0 is a scam ? because whatever application we use, of course we must keep the private key and mnemonic file safely, because if we don't take care of it properly, whatever we use will still not be safe.

First your mnemonic phrases is not something to joke with, as one mistake will make you lose total control of the wallet, you should know this for future reference. Secondly, there is no need for mnemonic phrases when sending tokens the only security requirements is your password. Thirdly open your wallet and goto settings to access the private key which you can also use, it is just like mnemonic phrases, that is, serves same function. Lastly, if you think the wallet is compromised, create another wallet, write down your mnemonic phrases send your tokens to the new wallet.

If you lost or misplaced your mnemonic phrases there is nothing that can be done about it rather than to trace your steps back to check if you can remember writing it down or forgetting about it. On the other hand, you don't need mnemonic phrases to send out tokens from your imtoken wallet all you need is the right combination of passwords. Also, if you can access your wallet that means there are chances you can still get your mnemonic phrases.

I suggest you to import your Imtoken wallet to Trust wallet. If you still have your private then it would work fine. I did import my Imtoken to trust cause I was losing some coins. Trust wallet works perfect and you can import any wallet adresses in it.
