Some ridiculous suspicious projects with zero value!

Did you hear about IronX and WPP? Both came in 2018, and both raised good money from ICO! From February 2019 to now, in IRONX telegram group 2-3 admins are active, if you ask about any update, they will reply to you "Our Technical team is working behind the scenes, very soon you will get an announcement"

Then I left their telegram group in March 2019, then a few days ago I was remembering all projects of 2019 then I joined IRONX telegram group again to see the latest update, you know what, admins are still active and giving the same answers what they copied year ago!

I don't know how many days I will remain mad after seeing this (Sarcasm)

Now, about WPP! Admins are very active for nothing. They raised 59 Million USD, just listed on Digifinex exchange and that's it, their coin value became worst, trading volume less than 1K USD! Whenever you ask to update, they will reply to you with shitty information, if you ask them back, they will ban you!

I heard about WPP and all its hype, funny they are no way closer to what they promised. To be frank, these projects aren't the only one behaving like this, they are in fact many; if they didn't raise any fund why claiming to? And if they did raise funds why not show proof of development? There have been many projects with that same line of "working on their projects" yet for months nothing to show for it, for such projects I consider them dead and distant myself from it since i won't get any vital information from them when i ask.

I only know about WPP, they seemed very promising, and last time I've heard they were linking their token to hydrogen prices, and that would have been interesting... but I feel they have put crypto in second place and focused on selling those prototypes of theirs...
price has dropped and there are no news that I know of

There were dozens of such projects 2018 and 2019 have proven to be a nightmare for both ico investors and bounty hunters, almost all mining based projects have either closed or failed, the biggest one was envion, then securix, scavo, swiss alps mining etc the list is long. In exchange based projects cobinhood has closed and their token has no value, ironx, bcnex and many other new ones also seem to have no direction, similarly many trading and investment based projects have also closed or failed like target coin, fox trading, countinghousefund, sift, taas has exited in a friendly way refunding all assets to investors. The list has been very long where investors and community has lost huge money and time in these failed projects.

There is nothing strange about their behaviour. I still remember those two project very well. I think they are few of those projects that were able to raise some money compare to some other projects. The truth is that many of them are running out of idea because they could not predict what will happen at any time. A lot of project have even resulted into using bot to answer question because people ask them same question above. At list they listed the coin on exchange. There is this project called buzzshow. The admin will always be active and she has been saying the same thing for the past 3 years now.

You get investors money and invest with them, later abandoned the project. I stand in the opinion that, let them fund the projects before investors can now come onto the project. Sadly but true that was the nature of most projects right before these ones, they will cause the hype get the funds and then take investors for granted with ridiculous replies when asked for the progress of the platform. I feel they see it as the best way to exit scam because by giving a particular reply over and over again, members will lose Interest and forget about them and gradually the telegram group would be deleted. In addition, many of these projects are moved by hype and once the public sale ends, the team might delay listing and comes up with that annoying reply; and if the team manages to list on any exchange the true nature will gradually surface which always results to negligence.

Regarding the first project, as far as I know, they have their own exchange on which the coin is hardly traded, or rather not traded at all.
As for the second runway project, as far as I know, investors sold their shares on the above exchange in the first two weeks of the start of trading (of course, not all).
I doubt that the data on 59,000,000 is correct.

After seeing your thread I joined in Wpp energy telegram group. It seems they saw your thread and published an article already, lol! I like their new update, if their plan goes well then I think that will impact highly in WPP price. They don't care about the coin price, which is really a sad part! many CEO from a project like that, they only think about how to get profit from various ways while they will not think about the price of the coin while they should be able to have expensive prices then have to get support from developers, maybe they consider the movement of coin prices at the exchange can have their own prices so they do not want to support the movement of the price of the coin at the exchange place.

Some projects IEO or sale status are fake I am not saying these two are fake but there is a project like that claiming that they raised a high amount like 59 Million Dollars and will reach hardcap soon like for an instance to encourage some investors to jump and invest in their project. They want to create FOMO and hype But after that, they dump their own coin/token and FUDs comes, This scenario happens frequently. In fact, I know a lot of projects like this one.

I feel you bro, I know the struggle of having an almost valueless token. I also got an alt before (2 years have passed when I bought it as far as I remember) and now it's still in my wallet. But the funny thing here is I already forgot the password of it due to loss of interest on that particular coin. I realized that it will not bring me some good money afterall so why I would waste my time looking forward to it . If I were you, just dump your token already so that you cut your loss at least and never ever invest to an ICO again (just a friendly advice tho).

Clone projects would never succeed for sure and that is how these coins suffered from no value or even get listed to any exchanges. This is not the only time that it happens to the market, in fact, these schemes already exist years before. And it is clear to us that we have to see its review before investing any project/s especially when it is new. We don't get tempted of their promises and guaranteeing huge rewards coz it many times that it has been broken and besides, they give nothing but a zero value token which we can't benefit from this.

A lot of ICOs from that period of time were not legitimate projects or didn't have teams with the right experience to pull it off so the value of these assets depreciated and may never recover unless they complete the roadmap and achieve adoption

This mean is not to spoil something of suprise. Ive been with projects like this and usually this will be a common response to all inquiry. So what does this really mean? Its same thing as your thinking. It's avoiding more question regarding update cause definitely they cant get you what you want and anything that will dissapoint you. That's how admin works. Will give you excitement cause never answering means there is something up their sleeve as people can wait or hope. Too bad thats how will be the answer after few months and you should get the omen of it as a hunter.

This is the thing you should avoid. Keeping off bounty tokens and wait for it to pump. Upon receiving you already should consider monetizing it as price still worth it cause if you wait that will be the result and see? What happened. Price drop right? Conscience? All they take is money leave when its done.

I followed WPP from the beginning, they promised the WPP token would be a stable token but to this day there is no further step. Many of their promises to investors, but this project seems slow. Large funds that they can seem to not be set aside for the cost of listing on large exchanges

That's their new ways now, after they have gotten what they want they will change totally and starts giving useless excuses or replies to important questions. Truly they need not to reply they are working on their projects by mare words, they need to reply with proof that they are working. Another thing about these types of projects is that, the type of hype they generate is always much which of course will lead to them getting what they want. I just got banned from WPP because i have asked about the latest progress from the development of WPP. The admin is still very active caused by it must be done by the scammer to make sure if there will be no the victime ( i meant investors) that will be taking legal suit against the team. So many scam projects were doing the same thing too. If someone able to create a report and that will very appreciated to prove how capable the team to use such a huge amount of money.

I think I've seen those projects having bounties. I've noticed them because of the signature campaign that they have and some members were wearing it so that's the only thing that I can remember about them.

This is an issue regarding these projects that held bounty on the forum and some other bounty hunting platforms, when it's about listing, they always doesn't satisfy their participants.

Yes, they had bounty and I was a participant of them. The sad part is IRONX and WPP both projects raised huge money, like WPP collected 59 Million USD and IRONX 25 million USD, what they did with that huge money? No exchange listing, no good update, developments and when you ask they are saying to wait, when people are waiting since January 2019! To me, they are scam project but people are not talking about their scam nature.   

Many projects fell into the same fate. Many of their bounty hunters hoped for the best because they had promoted it but nothing happened at the very least of their efforts.

I guess the best thing to do right now is to move on and think of it as a lesson and use that experience to avoid alike projects in the future. We can't do anything regarding that problem since the money is with the developers. We are all feeling more pity with the investors that put huge amount to these projects.

   Strunberg you are right, some of these projects appeared in 2017, when we had huge hype around entire crypto-market. Some coins went
high, people had money to invest and they did that. Many projects from that time failed, or become a scam along the way. We can't do much
about it, except to avoid those projects that looks fishy. Market confident will be hard to get back, still we have many scam projects, projects
with cartoon characters, what we need is more education, and newbies should learn more before they invest in some new project.
