Some ridiculous suspicious projects with zero value!

Did you hear about IronX and WPP? Both came in 2018, and both raised good money from ICO! From February 2019 to now, in IRONX telegram group 2-3 admins are active, if you ask about any update, they will reply to you "Our Technical team is working behind the scenes, very soon you will get an announcement"

Then I left their telegram group in March 2019, then a few days ago I was remembering all projects of 2019 then I joined IRONX telegram group again to see the latest update, you know what, admins are still active and giving the same answers what they copied year ago!

I don't know how many days I will remain mad after seeing this (Sarcasm)

Now, about WPP! Admins are very active for nothing. They raised 59 Million USD, just listed on Digifinex exchange and that's it, their coin value became worst, trading volume less than 1K USD! Whenever you ask to update, they will reply to you with shitty information, if you ask them back, they will ban you!

I remember exactly such a project as IronX, I won’t be sure about WPP. Of course, all this is very bad, as it once again shows us how deplorable the state of the crypto projects market is and that some of them are created only for the sake of raising money and nothing more. But even worse is the fact that no matter how we study the projects, we will not be able to 100% know what will happen to him in the end. It remains only to act at your own peril and risk.

How could a project with such huge fund raised could theoretically fail? Well they've just got a good catch on the investors, and run with their money. The cycle goes on, sometimes the same team are on but they've got dummy accounts and mange to get people fooled. I only believe in project if they are willing do meet-ups, discussing future plans, aside from that in theses kind of situations where scams are rampant, I'dd rather buy a coin that is already stable and keeping updates to its' users.

Most of the times it might get challenging to identify such people with different masks on. There are a lot of scam projects in the markets and most of those have already collected some huge amounts which perhaps motivates others to launch their own scam project. That is what rises the number of scam projects into the crypto space.

It is really sad to see the projects mentioned by OP collecting this huge amounts but yet not showing us any further development and such projects always land up vanishing from the space leaving no trace behind. That is the reason why I invest in minimum newly launched projects and mostly I try to avoid those until and unless I find a attractive project to invest into.

Recently i have also experienced a kind of strange project, i am not questioning its legitimacy but things have not been normal about this project, i am talking about ride node, initially they said token price is 0.05 per ride token then suddenly they said that ieo price on p2pb2b exchange is 5 dollar per ride, and after listing and end of ieo the price is not even 1/10th of even 0.05 and also there is hardly any volume, i hope team will clarify these things and in future each of their step will be more transparent and clear.

There are thousands of such projects out there that raised millions of dollars only to endup listing the tokens on few exchanges amd do away with the raised amount without actually presenting any product worth paying attention to.  When you check https://icodrops.com/category/ended-ico/ you'll discover that most of this project that raised huge fund doesn't even have active social media channels no more. I must say these guys doing away with investors fund are the factors tainting the whole cryptocurrency sector this bad to the outside perspective

There are a lot of scam projects out there now and it is difficult to be able identify the genuine ones. The problem now is even the professionals  in this can not really differentiate the scame from the genuine ones. This as a factor has set a boundary to some people coming into crypto.

In many of these projects, the original idea is a very good one. But the problem is with the implementation. There is hardly anything that we can do, if the promoters vanish with all the funds that was collected. Only a few projects agree to use escrow to store the funds. By the time we are able to identify a certain project as a scam, the funds will be lost already. 

There nothing we can do about if if we're falling on their traps, and the only thing that we can do for now is to move on. Seek for other opportunities in holding promising altcoins which is continuing to be active in the market. It seem so hard to see progress of altcoins but don't give up yet because there's always a perfect time for everything.

The problem is if we can't even get our money back when we have already invested in such a project. The unskillful developer will never create a good product and the problem is how do we know how competence the developer who is creating the project? The only solution to bet on what we can afford to lose and get it easily from the market again.

The presence of the product can be an attraction for investors. ICO and IEO hype are starting to fade and it's time for the team to offer a product instead of offering a whitepaper or roadmap that looks good.

Seems like the admin in the telegram group you were talking about acts like a bot for answering the same phrase whenever you ask for an update. As a bounty hunter, it is really important for us to secure and keep on track with the updates to that whenever sudden changes happen, we can adapt and adjust to be able to get along with any update they will imply. I haven't heard of such projects you have mentioned but it seems to be suspicious that the team is more likely avoiding to give out necessary information you need to know about the project. Bounty hunting does not end up after you have done your job on the promotion because as long as you haven't sold your tokens yet from that certain project, you do still have concern to know what is happening or the progress of the project. So such necessary information must be fully provided by the admin in the group to keep you updated as well as the other members.

That's a bad attitude from an admin and of course from the project. We know that 2019 was a pretty difficult year for bounty hunters, many failed projects, scams, etc. which resulted in a lot of drama in the bounty world. Most of them only give promises without any realization at all, the project stops, and over time the admin disappears one by one, and the telegram group becomes a den of spammers. Well, that's the risk. One of the best ways to overcome that is to move on. Try to busy yourself with analyzing other projects, and I see this year there have been quite a lot of good developments.

this is the reason why IEO launchpads seem to fade away its popularity. as investors are already seeing the similarity with ICOs. they are the same. good in promises but empty in actual implementation.
am only familiar with WPP based on what the OP has mentioned. i thought they can deliver their objectives but then again another crap in the making. people should have learned their lessons by now!!!

Want to learn about coins that cost nothing. Go to the yobit exchange. There are coins that have no future very much. many coins cost real 0. Therefore, if you want to invest in coins that are very cheap, then you are welcome to them. But just know that most likely they will either always cost 0, or eventually disappear altogether. Therefore, it is better to invest in new projects that have a chance.

Perhaps such projects often occur during times when the ICO market becomes difficult. To attract many investors, they will have to create an outer cover or have sold a large amount of TOKEN to create confidence for investors to buy. Please double check before investing in such projects

Such projects can easily create a fake atmosphere which might motivate the investors to invest into their project and also it is not much difficult to create a fake token sale and show the maximum number of tokens sold already. This is mostly been used even now and there are a lot of projects who are using this technique to scam many investors.

It is our responsibility to check their contract address and check whether they really have collected the funds mentioned by them. If not, than create a thread in scam accusation and save plenty of other investors from investing into such scam projects. We can't stop the emergence of these scam projects but we could bust them each time they show up in the markets.

yes check as much detail as possible about the funds, I also doubt the ico site that says that a project has reached softcap or their sales have been successful.but there is never any info about the market,or further development.
