I would say in addition to all the  good steps you have listed out , every investors should invest only an about they are comfortable to lose incase of the unexpected . also,  do not invest every of your capital in one crypto project .

Thanks for the post very good info especially for beginners and you almost covered all the points which are needed before trading in any stat of the market. I want to add one thing that always takes the risk if you don't take a risk you lose the chance.

Just to make it short, doing your own research before investing is the most important thing to do. This involves reading and understanding the whitepaper, checking the legitimacy of the team, checking if the product has a real use-case, team's marketing strategy, and a lot more. To lessen the risk of investing to scam or trash project you must do this thing with diligence.

I myself am more interested in investing in coins with clear quality like top coins today, for a new project I am still traumatized in 2018 where almost all of my assets were depleted.

the points that you mentioned are very decisive in a project that will be successful and promising, I hope this can serve as a guide for newcomer investors in the world of cryptocurrency.
