Hey Guys,

For quite a long time I had in time to find a way to have physical BTC holding to give to family and friends.
Back in 2014 I did buy some Microsoul, then in 2019 some Coldkey and my project matured.

I made my own order of casino chips (based on the same concept as the Satori Roll).

My idea was to get 4 batches of 18 to give on a yearly basis to my unborn kids (if I have 2) and my unborn nephews (if my brother has 2).

I ordered a batch of 100.
They arrived but some of them (26 out of 100)  had bad printing.
They printed a new smaller batch of 26 chips.

(I will see if I can make some better photos)

So i have quite a few extra available (126 - 72  =  54 extra).

Minerjones directed me to a supplier of hologram so I have those sorted and coming soon.

I don't intend to sell the chips for profit.
I am going to raffle 5 of them, international shipping included (up to $10 nzd)  (if you are skeptical, I could ship to minerjones that would reship to you, so I don't have access to your name and address, this has to be arranged with him, and cost of reshipping are on you).

If some of you are really interested I could sell some, unfunded at cost (plus shipping).
I already promised a couple of freebies to @yogg

Unlike most of the crypto collectible, I will be keeping the private keys of my coins.
I don't trust the people I'm going to give them to not lose them (my family).
At least I'll have a backup. And since it is for family purposes, it won't be a big problem.

Just to be clear.
The raffle isn't yet started.  Details to come
Chips are not numbered (no serial)
A hologram can be provided, but no private / public keys, you do your own generation and printing
you don't have to provide me any detail (you will have to make arrangements with MJ yourself)

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

They look great! I am interested. Can you please mention how much you are selling for? Love to know if these chips come with hologram. If they do can you show us a pic.

So potential great news!
@yogg has offered to work on a collaboration.

The idea would be that I send him my batch of chips and  he prints private keys and organizes the hologram.
They would become "coldChips" (haha, no I'm not going to TM this).

I guess this is a cost to me, but also less fucking around and less mistakes possible.
When I read that the Microsoul that I have are potentially worthless because the keys were mismatched and invalid .....

I will still honor the free raffle 5  coins (with yogg keys and holo) including international shipping (escrow if needed at your cost).

And I will probably sell 10 to 20 to cover costs.

So stay tuned, as the whole process will take at least 2 to 3 weeks

Hey guigui371 Smiley

Yes, those chips are lovely and make a very cool project ! Thank you for making them ! Cheesy
I'd be more than happy to help out with privkeys & securing them underneath holograms.

As I see it, they'll be individually packed in plastic pouches, with the public BTC address of each chip in the pouch.

Please send me a couple so I can see if this is doable, so we know if we take this forward or not.
I remain available if you have any question / enquiry on the process. Smiley

Alright, gents and ladies.

I've received the holograms I intend to use for my  personal use.
I've assembled one set to see if the holograms are tempered proof.

Front :

Back :

Assembled :

Peeled :

Side by side with a Cas:

So with that being the current state of the project, I have exciting news.

Firstly, I will raffle away (for free) a few of the chips (qty undecided yet)  + holograms for you guys to do whatever you want.

Yogg (from coldkey) has received the first batch of coins, he will generate a set of private + public keys and a hologram and stick it on the chips.
Some of the chips will be kept by him (as a gift), some will be returned to me for my own personal enjoyment, some will be raffled (free !) and finally, some will be sold (small batch 10 I believe, I will sell them, it won't be done through yogg).

I am yet to received photos of the final product (the coldkey holograms may have to be scrapped to fit on the chips).

Well, stay tuned.

Hey everyone Smiley

Here is a preview of how the chips look like after being equipped with a private key and a hologram :

They're very nicely done ! The feel in hands and the weight is great.
Congrats guigui371. Smiley

I will try to find/come up with a few enhancements that should render this chip more secure.
I don't know yet but I'm sure I will figure something out. Smiley

The ones that were commissioned by guigui371 will be produced next week and I'll send them back to him afterwards.

Like for the Polymerbit 10th year of Bitcoin note, a list of all the addresses will be released and signed by my primary BTC address.

I've had a lovely phone call with @Yogg that is definitely going above and beyond what was expected.
Especially since Paris is no under self isolation / quarantine and movement are restricted.

Can't wait to receive them, can't wait to give a few away and sell a few of them to recoup costs.

It has been a long wait, but it looks like the french post will reopen next week and that my coins will be sent to me.
I will be then taking a few photos and organise a free raffle to one or two lucky folks.
I will sell a few of the coldkey one and some of the blank ones too.

I love the chips more than the coins  and have dozens of them from various sources

even looking at doing my own as I have everything but holograms sourced but I also love to collect ones made by others - I hope to get at least one of these!

I will say that the round holos look better on the chips vs the square ones though - still want one though lol

Hello,
After a very long wait (Covid19) the casino chips have arrived.
I find them fantastic, Yogg has done a great job at doing what he does best: a secured private key behind the beautiful coldkey hologram.

This can be considered some kind of private coldkey commissioning with an exclusive edition of only 20 coins. (and #21 is a "prototype" owned by yogg)

The private key have never been exposed to me, this was 100% done by Coldkey as with any of their beautiful other products.
I technically have access to all the public keys and the Auth key, but I have no interest in keeping a record. Tracking who is loading the coins ect ...
Yogg would probably safekeep the list on his side.

I just supplied custom printed casion chips, and yogg did his magic.

I will conduct a free raffle to give one away.
I will sell an undetermined number of coldkey-Casino chips (probably 5 or 10)
I will sell an undetermined number of blank (not coldkely) casion chips to DIY (probably 20 to 50)

Photos :

Stay tuned for the Raffle.
