dStor - Telos-based project is hiring
As you know, the blockchain industry is very dynamic, and so is the hiring process there. Just now Douglas Horn, CEO fo dStor (and also - Chief Telos architect and white paper author) announced several open positions. There is also a bonus of 5000 TLOS if you will recommend somebody who will join the team. Best way to apply is to join Telos Telegram and to speak with Douglas directly. https://t.me/HelloTelos"I'm looking to hire a few more people on the dStor front as this project advances. I need: 1) Marketing lead - will help us establish the dStor brand from scratch. Similar experience valued. 2) System administrator/dev ops: strong linux & eosio skills, postgres, docker, ansible, Kafka, tinc, SSL, Cassandra, micro-services framework, Go-lang, IPFS knowledge will all be valued. 3) Developers with experience in node, go-lang, IPFS, HLS video streaming, micro services, etc. The candidates need to be legal to work in the USA (US citizens or existing green card holders) but can be working remotely...since it's quarantine time. I personally consider the GoodBlock team one of the best in the blockchain space so this is a chance to join and help us drive home a killer launch on a revolutionary product, dStor. If you have serious skills, current availability, and a passion for blockchain and Telos, this could be your chance to help change the world. Please DM me. Also, if you can connect us to such a person there are 5,000 TLOS thank-you/referral bonuses to anyone who connects us to a new (to us) candidate who we end up hiring. (To the first person to make the introduction to someone we don't already have an existing relationship with.)" You can learn more about dStor here: https://telosnetwork.io/dstor/Join Telos Telegram to apply or recommend somebody else https://t.me/HelloTelos

Telos Works 2.0 - Updated Proposal System
As an element of governance some blockchains have proposal systems. Telos Work Proposal System (WPS) built on Telos Decide software is one of the most advanced and interesting ones. I actively researched it, participated, and even submitted a proposal and it passed the vote. But the development process is always going on and recently Telos updated the system to 2.0 I will tell you about the main changes. Now Telos accounts vote with staked TLOS not the liquid TLOS If you stake TLOS at REX - you receive rewards around the level of 15% APR. If you believe in the long-term success of Telos than of course it's reasonable to keep your Telos not in exchange but in a wallet and stake it for additional rewards. In past liquid Telos and staked to CPU/NET was counted for voting, but not staked to REX (new name - Telos Rewards). This was something that many Telos holders asked to change. Yes, it was possible to move staked TLOS back to liquid, vote, and then stake again. But it took time and also loss in rewards. So this is a big change and very reasonable, because it's logically for long-term holders to stake and take part in governance. To submit a proposal - you need to update to SQRL 1.2.1 version of this wallet. To submit a proposal you will need to pay 5% of the proposal budget +30 TLOS submission fee. Return of fee is only possible if minimum vote support of 35% "YES" is reached. It is possible to add milestones (In past there were "Cycles", but now this is improved) To check proposals, to vote and submit your WP - go to the "Governance" tab in SQRL wallet and then to "Proposals". Right now as the WPS 2.0 is very new you might see not many proposals there. Both voting and submitting the proposal are very easy, but if you are new to Telos, blockchain area, or just feel you need a step-by-step guide, you can watch these videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Z55atCz744&feature=youtu.behttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyA9dG8Rnek

As I understand it, the project offers assistance in solving the problem with the virus spreading to the planet. And this decision preserves confidentiality. In a pandemic, this is perplexing. Testing the virus in no country in the world leads to physical or moral discrimination and segregation. In addition, in a pandemic, the issue of confidentiality is a matter of national security - the more open this information is, the more stable the social organization of society.

Telos Decide — The Future of Voting
Telos Decide is an on-chain governance engine for the Telos Blockchain that offers an extensive suite of voting services and DAC/DAO tools for both users and developers. As the engine, it is already used in Telos Works (Work proposal system where Telos token holder submit proposal and vote for proposals which will benefit the Telos ecosystem), SEEDs (platform with a goal to empower humanity and heal our planet, the app is live) and in a number of new dapps which are not yet released. Yo yo Blockchain Bastards and Telos foundation are in on it. They work in concert to gyp the minds of investors whom they feed with arched fancies. Who cares about all you do when value is sinking? No real people wish to be part of shenanigans fat scambags prepare to peddle these useless coins. Value <- that is one thing everyone is gonna cleave to in the end of the day. What is the real value of the products you build?? Man these coins are hopeless.

Why are you so critical? Which coins are not hopeless then? There is a value in each project build on Telos. You can check them, if they are not of value for you - they have value for others. Many games that use Telos and Telos-based tokens, Telos Decide, dStor (which might be a big thing when it's released), etc.

I'm sorry, I don't understand why people should use gaming on blockchain. In the last few years, dozens of projects tried this and none of them succeeded, recently even DGB failed. Playstation 5 will come out this year with amazing graphics almost close to real life. So why should people use games from an unknown source which look like they are from the 90s?

I'm not a gamer, but I used to play a lot of computer games in childhood As for me, cryptocurrencies bring to games one main thing - Tokenization (and therefore a good way to shape monetization) All the games I wrote about here (which base their Tokens on Telos) give people the opportunity to earn tokens, and Transact, interact with each other, change to other tokens, reward others, track their token ownership in a transparent way. And this only 1 aspect, and this is only beginning.

I think the ultimate goal is to become new economic system. And gaming is only one niche. But you are right that it's a very visible and active niche, and more games are planning to use Telos blockchain. I plan to test Farm game in the nearest future and to write about it So thanks for your interest and see you soon!

Hi, I tried setting up an account but the site won't connect to the anchor application installed (win10). Inside the app, only option is to import an existing account...not set up a new wallet. Any ideas? I would love to get started with this project
