Although it is our own  decision for investment, & we want always profit. But l think we should be aware & invest & to get much more knowledge of any project. We can see past history of any project & performance in these days when we should invest.

To be sincere, since you don't know the type of coin to invest in, then I would suggest you start with top coins, depending on your funds, top 20 in coinmarketcap is a good way to start. Also, to be sincere once more, no matter the coins you later decided to invest in, let Bitcoin be in your portfolio, it is the best to hold or invest in all the time.

Bitcoin is risky too, how you go down the list the risk is rising! You can never be sure did you made a good decision or not, only time can do that, what we can do is to do research, deep research, and it's how we minimize the risks, everything else is not in our reach.
