I have had a problem with my Ledger Nano S for over 2yrs now and Ledger Support can't even help me.

My Ledger Nano S issued me a Bitcoin Segwit receive address.

I transferred my coins to this address and have never had access to them.

My Ledger has never recognised this address since it issued it to me and according to Ledger Support they say that this address does not belong to my xpub.

The coins are still sat at this address - can anyone help me recover them?

Where did you get/made the segwit receive address?
Did you get it from Ledger live or in Electrum?

Have you tried to export your account from Ledger Nano?
If not try to export them first and maybe you can find your wallet there.

Guides can be found here Export your accounts from ledger

If not can you explain a bit more if what procedure did you do to get the Segwit address?

In addition to BitMaxz's questions above:

Have you ever reset or reinitialized your device, or has it had the same seed on it the whole time?
Have you ever used a passphrase?
Did you ever change the derivation path?

Also, if it's a SegWit address, then it should be a ypub for a "3" address or a zpub for a "bc1" address. Your xpub is for legacy "1" addresses.

I just checked post history of the OP.
The OP has opened 3 other topics regarding this issue in 2018. It was better to reply to those topics instead of creating a new one.
Some notable members of the forum helped him to solve the problem. But seems that the problem has not been solved yet.

The OP has already tried to export the wallet. But the attempt was not successful. Also, resetting the wallet hasn't solved the problem.
The OP claims that the address has been created by ledger and no passphrase has been used.

Here is the address OP is talking about.

What is most probable is that the OP noted down the seed incorrectly.

Recovered it and then couldn't access his funda again

Another option is that the OP sent his funds to the incorrect address.  Or a copy paste virus or something like that.

The most unlikely situation is that the OP's leddger nano has a terrible bug, which gave him the wrong address.

This is very unlikely because there are no reports like that.

Looking through the previous post as hosseinimr93 suggested, the OP has shared a screenshot of the address being displayed, which matches the address above, so it doesn't seem to be malware related. The fact the funds haven't moved in 2 years also suggests it wasn't an attack, but rather a bug or a mistake.

The chance of making a mistake when writing down a seed phrase, but your incorrect copy still being a valid seed you could restore from, is very slim. If OP had made a mistake writing down the seed and tried to restore from it, chances are it would have failed during the restore.

I suspect OP is either using the wrong seed altogether, or the address is buried in some crazy derivation path and he can't find it.

I got this BTC Segwit receive address from my Ledger Nano S via the original way through the Bitcoin Ledger Wallet Chrome App

Have you tried connecting your Nano S to Electrum to see if you can find that address in your history tab or your coins tab, is it there?
Increasing the gap limit might make the address viewable in Electrum.

It seems so, unless you have any other suggestions that have not been tried already.

At some point two years ago, before Ledger introduced the confirmation of the receiving address on the device, there was an attack where a malicious script would change the address shown in the Chrome app (and it was very easy to do as well ... a few lines of code).
    https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2018/02/06/cryptocurrency-wallet-ledget-hardware/

Anyway, your best (and only) hope at this point is that you had some sort of derivation path issue.
On an offline machine, you can write a script which will regenerate addresses from your mnemonic seed given a derivation path (you can use https://github.com/dan-da/hd-wallet-derive).
Ledger can't do this, as they only have the xpub at the level after the hardened derivation paths, and they can't possibly ask for the mnemonic seed to do this for you.
You will have to do your research on possible derivation paths used at that time, extend search ranges and hope for the best (obviously, if one of the addresses you generated is the one where you send the funds to, then getting them back will be easy).[/list]

I don't think that's the case. As o_e_l_e_o already said, after 2 years, funds have not been moved yet.

Then the derivation path problem is more likely indeed, he can check the edit of my reply and try this.

The seed is correct and the funds were sent to this correct address as it is confirmed on the blockchain.

    That is exactly the problem.

The seed is correct and the transaction is confirmed. However,  that address does  not belong to your seed (at least it really looks like)
In this case, funds are lost. You cannot brute force that address to find the correct private key.

Did you copy paste the address for the Transaction or did you typed it?

According to this post which has been made about two years ago, he has typed that address.
I scanned the QR code. The address has been typed correctly.

Have you tried connecting your Nano S to Electrum to see if you can find that address in your history tab or your coins tab, is it there?
Increasing the gap limit might make the address viewable in Electrum.

This would help only if OP is make same mistake as me and pick some change address which was possible with Ledger Chrome App. In that case coins are still in his wallet, but Ledger is not check that address because of gap limits.

RDH40, did you try to use Electrum and increase gap limit? To do that just connect your just follow these steps : https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005161925-Set-up-and-use-Electrum

After that in Electrum console copy/paste :

    Code:
    for i in range(0, 100): wallet.create_new_address(True)

This will create 100 change address, and if one of them is one you send coins, your balance will be upadated. You can change number of address to any number, and also change True to False to generate receiving addresses.

This may not help either, but in the absence of other solutions, it's worth trying.
