Is there any reliable site where we can see the real how many people were affected by these outbreak?
In our country this was the hot topic for weeks but now it seems people are slowly not getting worried about this, if this is to destroy China then probably this virus is not coming from China, and I think China has taken care of the information well not to leak so it would not affect their economy.

This is not the thing which they can hide it from the rest of the world even if they wanted to. But it's true the media is not covering it seriously as before even in my country too as they do it before. Regarding this topic, I don't think it is a kind of bio war from another country as it has spread to most of the countries now.

There are some certain speculation came from other sources that the virus came the lab in wuhan but I don't know if we can trust those information coming from internet but what puzzled me is why they hide the real numbers since there are so many whistle blowers come and expose the real situation happening but sadly they are abducted and never seen.

Media should cover the true situation so that the world will know the real score happening in their country so that their neighbors could prepare for the worse with exact actions made.

Most likely some variation of the stories linked are the case of the spread.

Most likley the worst case is 12% of the world catches it that's a billion people 2-3 % die  this is 20 to 30 million deaths.

I based this on the results of the isolated ship off Japan.  600 of 5000 got sick in pretty much the best conditions to spread a disease 2-3 weeks stuck on a ship.


The stats from China   vary  65,000 of 11,000,000   to 72,000  of 62,000,000 got sick 2-3 % die.

Media is covering it, negatively though, that's why it has a huge impact currently as the price of almost all traditional and non traditional markets are affected again by this second wave of news.

Even yahoo finances cover the news as well, could be to create mass hysteria or if they are just trying to convey the "truth" of the matter, we may never really know the score behind all of this.

Can I shoot you a question since you are one of those who have really been there at ground zero? Or am I correct in assuming that you've been to Wuhan yourself?

For sure, this is something that cannot be related to China launching its own crypto nor to the US trying to shut down China's economy. However, having been there yourself, were there also rumors in the area that this virus is not really coming from people consuming pangolins, bats, and whatnots but from a laboratory? For decades, or perhaps even centuries, the people of China have been eating all kinds of exotic food such as bats and pangolins, which are said to be the source of the virus, but it makes me curious why the virus has just come out now.

I did a lot of numbers  and I see  the infection to end up near 1% worldwide  that is  1% of 8 billion  or 80 million  get sick in the next year.  With 2 to 3 % of them dying.  So maybe 1.6 to 2.4 million world wide will die from it.


The last super bad virus not counting aids  was a flu out break in the early  1920's maybe 1919.  It most likely was a side effect of world war I

it killed  about 20 million people.   but  we had 1.8 billion  so  4.4 x that is  about todays population.   That flu would have killed 88 million.


This virus won't  do that.  Which is why some countries are willing to let it run its course.  Donny Trump  fired the entire pandamic CDC staff in 2018  so as bad as this has been in China  it is going to really fuck the USA hard.   Maybe 3 million catch it and 60,000 die. On the high end estimate.


One must remember the USA loses  50,000 a year to flu + pneumonia so it will be more this year.


In fact  if it does occur as bad as I think it will  much like the war of the worlds  where the martians were beaten by tiny little germs  Trump may lose the election due to tiny little germs.

Still missing the point in your post, yes I agree the united state of america might be doing some negative things in regards to china economy but how does this have any effect in the so called china owning it's own cryptocurrency. We all know coronavirus is one of the deadly virus out there at the moment and it's a great one to see that the people of china republic has been able to look for a way to quickly combat this issue. This fits into another conspiracy theories. I've heard similar before, that this medical crisis is created by USA to destroy China, also that is created by milijarde and some even go that far they say corona virus is made with intention to destroy Bitcoin, which makes no sense to me.

Anyway,  I think this virus will stay but what we are looking right now is the cure of this virus, and that would not make people worry.

Well, regarding to your post about corona virus, it is really a threat to someone's health if ever you get this kind of deadly virus that results to respiratory diseases. This is kne of the reasons why many countries banned Chinese people to come to their countries and I totally understand that. With regards to the cryptos to be launched by China, I don't think (and hoping not) that some people will get to the point of inventing virus just to destroy a country's economy. 1. The virus is now present in Africa: Egypt (apparently the case was solved through recovery), Algeria and Nigeria. Out of these 3, Nigeria has the highest temperature. I'm curious to find out what's going to happen with the infection from Nigeria. If that survives and turns into an African Coronavirus outbreak, it means the virus can become resistent to heat.

2. People are panicking because this is something most of us haven't been through before and panic + hysteria is propagated now on a worldwide level. Take a look at stocks and see why people are panicking. If the virus isn't fatal, the crash happening today will be fatal for the global economy. Only few are ready for a month-long (or longer) quarantine and I've heard many people around me running out of money because of the large sums they had to spend on supplies. I know that there is a possibility that this is planned by a group or a country but we should not point our fingers to anyone since we don't know the true story. Another thing is that America will also be affected by this outbreak, the US officials are warning its citizens to brace for the outbreak so I don't think this is orchestrated by them since they would never plan something that they would also be affected.
