Sounds like you are looking for new coins you can mine? What type of setup you have? Asic or Graphics card mining setup? It's very important to know because algorithm differs, scrypt, cryptonight, sha256, Ethash etc

You can take a look at the https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0 (Announcement section of the forum) there's a lot of recent projects that you can see there and up for mining the good thing is that the difficulty is pretty low and if the project is a success you will have a decent profit from it.

you can also take a look to this section (Mining section) and look for a good project, not sure tho what kind of project you're looking for but there's a lot of projects here that have a potential.

Will also watch this thread since I'm curious as well what are the new projects or coins that is good for mining but i'm not aware of.
