So I have a listing on a market for "Bitmain Antminer s17 - 53 TH/s"

Did Bitmain release s17's with different hashrates, under the same model name?

I'm aware of different models like s17 pro, s17+, s17e, and I sold just the s17 model.

Buyer claims I gave a 50 TH/s model, despite listing it as 53.

The s17's I have been mining with have well over 55 TH/s on average when on normal mode, I even listed it as less (53) to be on the safe side.

I need to make sure I didn't make a mistake, or if he is confused on models.

Bitmain does not show different hashrate models for just the s17:

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Did you sell it and ship it to him?  Or is it just listed?

The s17   had at least 2 models   50th and 53 th

the s17 pro had at least 3 models  50th 53th 56th

So is your question about a listing not sold or about a listing sold as 53th and mining at 50th in the buyers hands?

if the buyer has it in his hands and is mining with it and getting 50th and he shows you 50th on a 3 or 4 hour test .

just refund him 3/53 x the sale price.  as he can show it underperforms .

Let me look for some info on s17 listings.  I do guess you question belongs here since we are trying to show that s17 has at least 2 models.

the link shows multiple models of s17 and s17 pro

Already sold and shipped. I was unaware there were different TH/s version of the same s17 model. This looks like it is my mistake then. Very confusing from Bitmain but oh well. Thanks.

As I said a small refund should fix issue.  maybe 6-10%.

Part of the fault is bitmain as they do not have a listing of all gear they sell or have sold.

Partial refund offered and accepted.

Yeah the naming of their models is really janky, but information is there just not clear from their own website.

Thanks for the help everyone.
