Altcoin market had turned down the trust of its investors.  Lots of ICOs had become worthless making their investors suffer a huge loss due to the unfulfilled road map while others just turned scam.  The one of the major reason why altcoin not bouncing back is because of investors avoiding altcoin market.

This is totally disgusting to hear if those people who still continue to prevent any of those altcoin market, we won't experience the previous altcoin moments that we enjoyed it's profit. People seemed to be more desirable to get profit out of altcoins, but how can we benefit since this situation became so disappointing to all altcoin holders. Are we going to continue or stop in the midst of the underlying problems? Hopefully someone of us can add up their thoughts here, in order to enlighten individuals who struggled with their asset.

Shit project is looking for the money and the pumpers make it even worst. The garbage team, poor development progress and it's not having a strong vision. It was only using paid whitepaper to attract users.
The majority of those are still surviving, in this case, are the best project. Thousand dead projects have already died.

The main reason I see is huge supply, bigger discounts to private investors and no locking period for team and holders.
This in results huge selling and uninterested buyers giving less price day by day.
The tokens should be burnt regularly to lower the supply which will automatically increase the demand increasing the price.

Yes, it is almost an average that is seen because of the large supply and large discounts that make it difficult to altcoin rise to higher prices, because one's interest in altcoin is clearly different and it can affect demand and supply in the market against an altcoin.

I agree with OP's opinion. But I want to add. In the past two years, the crypto market is not very good. Everything is only focused on Bitcoin.
If Bitcoin weakens, altcoin will automatically weaken too. I think altcoin will strengthen again, when the Bitcoin market can reach All-time High again.

Even in good projects, it also dump but we cannot really tell if the project is dead or not, that depends on how investors sees it.
For example if the project is launch during the bearish market, that would certainly affect its status, if ETH which is one of the most popular altcoins dump to below $100, how much more other projects and if ETH has a capability to recover, sure people would think the same on other project as long as the team is still developing the project.

I agree no one can hold grudge about who want to sell their tokens especially on bounty hunters side since they worked for it. No arguement here thats the reality.

It's the reality that many should understand and we're all here to profit. We, bitcoin and altcoin holders doesn't like to see the market dumping but it's the reason why we're all making profit so if everyone won't sell, there's no reason for us to hold it for a long time because eventually, we will start dumping what we hold when we see a profit in it except for bitcoin.

Too altcoins are on the top list of ranks for a reason, they are less risky to invest on compare to new altcoins or altcoins that never make it to top 100, some new altcoins will still find their way to top ranks but it's not that easy to fish them out, all I know is altcoins with rare use cases will always have good results

Since last few months almost majority of trader/Investor are seems like hopeless or bored from this dead marked, Expect whales or manipulator. Well, practically those what you have said are right. We are all having such a great expectations towards any projects that all turns out to get into the other way around. We are all always making it too hard or complicated to the extent that we are wondering to think seamlessly that everything can be possible to happen. It is also true that because of the recent scenarios that involves most projects that promotes new Altcoins that turns out to be a scam or fail performance of all the other existing cryptocurrency is affected most specially with the Altcoin market because people are having this general mindset and concept that all projects involving Altcoins are all scam and failure which is not true; but because of persistent public claim, people do believe on this words making potential investors as well as newbies avoiding projects involving Altcoins and are afraid to invest into the Altcoin market. Dumping of the prices is also one of the main reason why Altcoins prices are not rising up because people tend to drop down their assets just to be able to save their own and making the price as well as the other holders to suffer.

Many altcoins have reached their cycle low levels but many are still hopeful that one day the alts will turn back, if this happens everyone will be happy in the crypto space once again. Exactly, most of the Investors lost the trust especially in ICOs as lot of them suppose to be scammers. Many altcoins have reached their cycle low levels but many are still hopeful that one day the alts will turn back, if this happens everyone will be happy in the crypto space once again. In the previous months the price of alts are lesser though which means the investors are inch by inch they are trying to collect some altcoins specially the ones with reputation like ETH, LTC and BNB.  We may not seeing a lot of spikes every day but its a gradual process. It just need more confirmation from big companies and countries that supports crypto to make BTC mainstream and expose people to cryptocurrencies.

Actually one of the biggest reasons is the fact that everyone is just on a period of waiting. We do not want to wait too much but right now everything seems on a such a thin thread that we may go down a lot or we may go up a lot. People who do not have too much altcoins are afraid to go in long term, they still do day trading but when it comes to long term (over 3 months at least) they are still afraid so they do not buy anything too much, however people who also have too many altcoins are afraid of selling as well, they are not entirely sure if its riskier to sell their coins or keep them.

So, this is a very dangerous zone and people just want to see what is going to happen first and move afterwards, even if its a bit late they rather be late than wrong.

It is better to ignore most of altcoins because seriously most of them are worthless and unprofitable in all the time. In fact, the market was not dead lately OP, too many traders made a lot of profit before few months due to they took the right decisions in the best time. Try to focus on the Top 10 or 20, these cryptocurrencies are really profitable espeially in a long term because we barely see a big progress of any currency in a little time. Well,  i'd say the major reason i perceived to be the cause of the downtrend perculiar to altcoins are lack of
proper  implementation of their proposed Usecases. Most of these projects, even the ones that shows prospect at the onset do forget about what they really emerge to deliver after rasing quite huge amount of money.

And even the investors contributes greatly to the dead of altcoins as the only thing they care about is for the devs to list the tokens on exchanges, then dump their bag, make some profits and move to anotger project without even giving concern whether if the project delivers or not

Firstly, nobody expects a big hit, everyone (atleast 80%) are into crypto currency for the money, the profit, so when you buy outrightly, you sell outrightly at profit.

Secondly, projects do not dip due to the performance of a shit project in crypto market.

Thirdly, it is wrong to assume that altcoins are dead due to the dominant figure of bitcoin, altcoins strive, you cannot  count them dead because you trade wrongly

Dyor and focus on the best of altcoins because they thrive and bring profits always.

Fourthly, Bitcoin has not returned to its ath and u want altcoins to do that? Except a newbie, we are all aware that altcoins soarest price are dependent on bitcoin bull run.

Don't expect too much from trades that offers so little.
