Are you mired in an overloaded daily life? Complex? Who lacks meaning?

These tips will assist you manage some time better. Will encourage you to step back from events. And to see more clearly what really matters.

You can put them in place little by little. The goal is not to make life difficult by trying too many things at once.

Take one. Put it into action and see the effects it produces. Then test a second if you feel like it.

Ready ? Let's go!

1. Think once a week about how to simplify your life
Taken by our tasks, our imperatives and our habits, we forget that the first step to have time and become more Zen is simply to think about it.

Surely you are very busy . But ultimately, are you not looking to improve your organization and simplify your life?

So take some time to learn how to manage your time. Give yourself 10 to 20 minutes, each week, calmly, to imagine how you can make your life better.

This simple exercise will allow you to refocus and take a break.

In what ways can you simplify, delegate, reduce or eliminate one of your activities?

Take a notebook or notebook and write down your ideas. Then apply these ideas gradually, at the rate of one change per week or per month for example.

Do not try to jostle everything at once, you would run out of steam just as quickly.

2. Aim for the essential with Pareto's law
What would you say if I told you that only 20% of your efforts allow you to achieve 80% of the results you want?

Of course, this percentage can decrease or increase significantly. This is a general rule established by the Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto who noted in his country that 20% of the population shared 80% of the wealth.

However, for the many areas in which this rule is used, this principle proves to be quite realistic.

And the good news is that this one is perfectly suited to time management.

3. Facilitate everyday life with a minimalist organization
Simplifying your life and getting organized are not two mutually exclusive things.

Even a stripped-down organizational system helps you clear your mind, reduce stress, and get things done on time.

4. Cut into small digestible pieces so as not to procrastinate
There is nothing worse than eating life because things are put off overnight.

If you are feeling discouraged at the weight of the work at hand, there is a simple tip that can help you take action.

Tasks that seem too heavy are like roads without signs. If you don't know the area, you avoid borrowing them.

The way to place signs on these roads that will help you move forward is to cut large projects into small digestible pieces.

Cut into pieces as small as necessary, until they are sufficiently concrete in your eyes, sufficiently digestible.

It's hard to tackle something abstract.

5. A simple list every day
The todo list has registered its letters of nobility for almost 60 years.

As simple as it sounds, this (well used) tool has helped many people to increase their effectiveness.

In the journey to simplify your life, you should avoid the common obstacle: overload.

Keep an easy daily list of actions to perform.

Schedule a maximum of 3 tasks per day. Essential and concrete tasks, as we've just seen.

But don't forget to build your little list every day.

Keep a good third of your day free and unplanned. This will allow you to manage unexpected events, emergencies, interruptions, fatigue, delays and secondary tasks.

Yes, there is all of that in a day too. This is where the next tip comes into its own.

6. Evaluate the time it takes
When planning a task, try to estimate how long it will take you to complete it.

Why? Because there is nothing more frustrating to finish at 6 p.m. what you thought you were folding at 2 p.m. and to have the feeling of having wasted your time. At the same time pushing back the other tasks that were planned.

Take into account the context in which you are carrying out the action, your work style and your energy. The goal is to stick more to reality but don't overestimate yourself.

8. Eliminate regrets
One of the great remedies to reduce stress and make your life easier is to do what you want to do.

Agreeing to do something when in reality you don't feel like it brings with it its share of guilt.

Of course, you have imperatives. But don't let regrets eat away your time. You have better things to do.

9. Stop the paperwork
We have a tendency to keep a lot of things. In reality, a lot of what we store will never be of any use to us.

This is the case with papers.

We use and have new ones every day. Mail, advertising, photocopies, notes, minutes, newspapers, magazines, books pass daily into our hands and end up cluttering our desk, our shelves, our cupboards, and our head.

Here you sit, with a house full of stuff. Some of it you use, and some of it you don't use.

Every time you use something, tape a date label with the date that you used it to the item. Note, of course, that this doesn't include things that you use on a daily basis, like dishes, or clothes, or emergency stuff like flashllights or medical kits.

Six months down the road, go through everything in your house. You don't have to do it in one day, but do it in one week. Get a family member to help you if you are a very busy person.

Take all the items that you haven't used for the half-year, and move them into storage. BUT, at the same time list them in an index with the location marked... in closet ONE, or in box A... so that you can find them whenever you need them. Note that this will include things not labeled as well as things you taped a label to.

After 2 or 3 years, go through the boxes of things you placed in storage, and hold a garage or yard sale for the things you realize you will never use.

Of course, if you find out that you are using something in storage once every 2 or 3 months, you might want to place it back among the things you use regularly.

Btw, a side effect of forcing yourself to do this, will be that you will become better organized in every aspect of your life.

I only got one advice here, and that is to avoid slacking / procrastinating. Anything that you can already do right at this very moment, do it already. This way moving forward, it would simplify every other tasks that you have along the way.

These are very helpful. For me I have my own types for good life; the first thing keep smiling , always am smiling with my friends and family and it bring me in the top. Second, you have to work hard , you will not be simple if you have not money, you cannot be an effective person without work. More things are important , which helping other people and making their life more happier.

That's a great tip, I tend to be too lazy to really organize my day. Especially now during home office in corona times I find it harder to stick to a daily routine. This is definitely an important point which I would like to improve for myself. Reducing stress in times of a pandemic is also more difficult as most of the time we spent at home. I can't wait for the world to return to normal.

You have some valid points. Thanks
Please add this in your list:
Set monthly goals. Instead of New Year's resolutions, set yourself 1-3 goals each month.
Carry a water bottle everywhere
And try to do one good deed daily.
