[ANN] FTS Coin launched 2/2020

Hey everyone, just wanted to let everyone know that FTS Coin is launching.

FTS Coin is an asic resistant privacy coin (Turtle Coin fork) with a 25,000,000 total supply and 100 year distribution time. The coin is based around Project FTS, that has already been putting boots to the ground for a year now, without its own coin, trying to spread mass adoption by teaching businesses about cryptocurrency and guiding crypto users to those businesses.

FTS Coin is a Peer 2 Peer Transaction system, and creating an ergonomic and easily used front end system is one of our major goals. We hope to help enable this transaction model with encrypted messages as well creating the first every biometric based wallet generation system.

Antivirus software typically employs "heuristics" which is basically a set of patterns to look for or red flags. It doesn't mean it's a positive detection of a virus based on a known definition, it's just something that seems sketchy according to the antivirus software

As another member pointed out, if you're newer to cryptocurrency and not used to this, please feel free to use the open source files on GitHub and Linux. This is a guaranteed way to know you have original safe files, but the files for windows are safe, its just a false alarm that needs to be white listed

@Dev, you need to put all those important links on your OP. because users will check the very first post of your thread. not all people will check all the posts on your thread and look for these links because they expect these to be in the OP. and since you are aiming for your users to spend FTS coin to spend anywhere, have you already communicated with potential shops or companies that will accept your coin as their payment method?

Great advice on the first part.

As for the second part, the context is crucial there? The screen shot you captured is directly from the part of the web site about our upcoming mobile app. "Everywhere," in that context, means you won't be tied to a computer desktop and could go anywhere with your phone to spend FTS.

That all said, our map service does already work with well over 100 businesses around the globe, and once we have a better developed coin to offer them we will be calling them all and presenting it to them. First we need to establish community support and mining though. I didn't even consider that part of the website may get misinterpreted tbh, oversight on my part maybe.

Both the web site and section 3 of the white paper mention our pre-mine, and more importantly how it is to be used/distributed. Of the 25,000,000 FTS Coin released 2,000,000 or 8% was managed into a pre-mine to support further development and growth for the coin. Hope this helps with the confusion

No need for KYC at all When we get connected with exchanges over the next few months they will each have their own unique requirements, but this is a privacy coin. As far as anyone else on the network knows you could be a unicorn or their sibling.
