Is it really possible to restore a photo edited by someone to its original form? Is there any software that can do that?  I will be very happy if someone can actually help me with this.

There is, as long as the editor knows the original appearance of the photo.

The typical software are adobe photoshop and other known photo editing software. Why you are asking this?

I think it is possible to recover an edited photo You can restore it with Photoshop. You can fix photos with Adobe Photoshop CC and CS Six I have occasionally worked in Photoshop and worked on many photos. Photoshop has many tools that are used for different types of photos You can easily fix your edited photos.

No,it is not possible to remove the effects on any edited Photo but you can edit back it to normal appearance using the same application which you had used to edit that pic.

If you didn't clear the project even after you saved it then it is possible to undo all the applied effects.

I don't think it's possible, once a picture is edited then that's it except if you saved the original pic somewhere else

I don't think that this is possible, since in the standard photo formats there is no data on previous versions of the photo. But if, for example, you saved a photo in a format in which editing layers are saved, then you can easily return the original.

Definitely not. The only chance for recovery is to find the file of the graphical editor in which the photo was modified and roll back all the edits, but not the fact that this file was created after editing.

It is. But you will need an experience editor in order to do so.
If you are not a professional it would be very difficult to do it. It might be easy to add filters or other effects but it is very difficult to remove them and turn the picture to its original form.

Indeed once you already save the photo you cant restore it again to its original appearance. Unless you still have the file in photoshop wherein you can continue editing the picture or undo the effects you did. Thats why if you're unsure with the final look dont merge or delete the file so you can edit it again.

You are right in saying that if we don't delete anything and there's a computer file then it's possible to recover any edited photo. But not everyone is going to be ready to do so in many photoshop work that's only possible in their title. it's possible to upgrade every task but it requires considerable knowledge.
