This is the first book in Bengali language which is written on Bitcoin and other cryptos. Mainly focused on Bitcoin. Other cryptos are side note. The book was first published pn 2018, I never heard about the book before some days ago. To collect the book, I have gone "Ekushe Boi Mela 2020" (A book fair held on each year for the whole February month).
I have read half of the book and it was a very good read. It will help people to change their negative outlook to Bitcoin. This is a start and I think a lot more to come.

It's not written in arabic language but it is written in bengali language just what the title of the post says. The front page of the book looks good and I do hope that they create an English version of this for everyone to read.

I am also wondering about the true legal status of Bitcoin in your country. I have read about Bangladesh prohibiting financial institutions from getting involved in crypto transactions. I have also read a thread here claiming that Bitcoin is illegal in your country, that it cannot be used as a currency. Moreover, there was also an old news about the country imposing jail terms for anyone who is found guilty of using Bitcoin.

And yet, I have also encountered here a post sharing a Bitcoin cafe in your country. Aside from that, this forum has also a good number of people from Bangladesh. And here you are sharing a book supposedly written by a local using the local language. Are all these allowed despite the unfriendly stance of your government toward Bitcoin? Or are all these existing as underground practices or perhaps as a form of resistance to the current policies against Bitcoin?

I forget to share the details. He is not a popular writer but before purchasing the book, I checked his profile which looked interesting.

There is a disclaimer written in the book which I loved:
"Bitcoin is illegal in Bangladesh but that doesn't mean we can't learn about it. There is nothing wrong with that." This is true. Bitcoin is illegal here and one can be sentenced jail if they found doing transactions with bitcoin. But this has nothing to do with learning about it.
The part I love about the book is that he tried to show the current FUDS or misguide going around bitcoin vs bitcoin in reality. I would like to translate one sentence,
"If someone says Bitcoin can make you bankruptcy or a richer person within some days, that will not be wrong. If someone says bitcoin is a currency for illegal trades that will not be wrong. Because all these things going around bitcoin but in reality, bitcoin is nothing like this, it's something a better currency." That was really a good one.
It is an educational stuff and I think there is no problem.

Having a book about bitcoin is really an advantage for them, being known, and knowledge about bitcoin is a great weapon for you to follow the emerging cryptocurrency. Experience is significant, and the best source for us ever is the book. We have used it when we are a child. Still, now we have internet, which is also a great source of information, I hope that kind of book also have a version English online, We cannot use that kind of book because base on the front page, it was written on the language of Bengali, so basically we will not understand that book, and the best thing that we can do is to search it through internet, hoping that it will have other languages version that we can use to understand the message of it.

Wow ! It was good for all Indians/Bangladesh people like you mate. It is a manifestation that your country is now aware of such technology and it may definitely serve as a reference for all aspiring bitcoin/altcoin investors out there. While here in my country, I still haven't found a book which mainly discusses blockchain technology that's why I solely depend on the infos that can be found on the Internet until now. Well, this is not a big deal actually since you can already found everything on the Internet but books are infinitely relevant, it will not be outdated.

A good initiative for bengali community who are able to read  about Bitcoin in their native language. It is just the beginning many more to come I guess. If this book is a success then I am sure it will be translated to other regional languages.

Although there are a lot of bitcoin materials available in English, it's important that people make books and other resources available in other languages. That will be to the benefit of the native speakers of that language, in this case, Bengalis. The critical mass of people who need to learn about bitcoin are largely the ones who aren't in Western countries.

We can't expect them to look for information about this themselves as they have no idea where to look, Information sources in foreign languages can be low quality. It's better to have translated copies of books readily available as they can be relied upon to contain lots of knowledge.

In Bangladesh, such books like this will help ordinary people to learn about blockchain and cryptocurrency. Because they do know absolutely nothing, in terms of curiosity if they buy this book and read, their ideas may change. If this book has an English PDF available, I would like to read it.

The first book published in Bangladesh on bitcoin is the "Bitcoin Blockchain technologies and other cryptocurrencies" written by Mostofa Tanim. I googled and found out that "Rokomari" was the biggest online bookseller in Bangladesh and after searching in their website, I found this book and I think those people having negative mindset about Bitcoin they should give it a read

Normally I would have very little to say about a book that I'm unable to read because I don't understand the language, but I have to say that was a good find, OP.  I know bitcoin is hot in Asia, and one of the things I love about crypto is how global it is--it's the closest thing we have to a universal currency, kind of like the Euro for all continents.

If you look on Amazon for books about bitcoin/crypto, there seem to be a ton of them.  It's kind of surprising, given that most people still don't own a single satoshi, and yet it's encouraging to see.  Hope you enjoy the rest of the book, OP.  Hopefully the author wasn't just a hack, because that's what I worry about when I buy nonfiction books.  Unless the author is popular or otherwise has a reputation as a good writer, you never know what you're getting unless you can sample it first.
