There are so many ways to promote btc and i believe that social media is one of the best way to promote it, because the people around the globe are using social media maybe only 10% out of 100 is not using it so promoting bitcoin in social media is a good way or fastest way to promote.
 

Not one of the best, it is the current best social sharing that we have right now. There are 4.5 billion people that has the access to the internet, let's say that half of it, 2.25 billion have registered or has a social media like facebook -> 2.45 billion active users in monthly basis, Twitter -> 330 million active users in monthly basis, these are only two of most popular ones not including the Instagram since it is already owned by facebook. Look at that huge number, if you are going to promote in social media there is a higher chance of being recognized worldwide.

In my opinion we are past the days in which we needed to promote bitcoin, a great deal of the young people around the world have at least heard a thing or two about bitcoin, now it is up to each of them to decide if bitcoin is for them or not, and I think that as time passes more young people will come to the conclusion that bitcoin is not only the future of money around the world, bitcoin is also one of the few assets around the world that is not overvalued and that they can buy at a fair price so it is a great investment for their future.

Great animation you've got there. Great job. Beyond all that, I think Bitcoin is self-promotional itself. It's the first point of contact anyone (greenhorn) makes with cryptocurrency. A lot of them even think Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that exists, and not as one of the cryptos. I think the issue now is mass adoption of Bitcoin through legislation/regulation and not necessarily awareness. The word about Bitcoin's awareness went out in 2017.

Yup, anyone that takes interest in crypto usually gravitates to Bitcoin just out of its price, volatility and market share. Still, it's not wrong to promote here and there to potential adopters and lead them to the right places to get their info (unbiased if at all possible) and teaching them what's convenient for starters.

Honestly even though I knew Bitcoin for almost a year I would say that promoting with this is apparently very difficult. Although Bitcoin is familiar worldwide, a lot of people didn't understand how Bitcoin works and what is the real purpose of this thing.

For me I preferred to promote Bitcoin in my family and introducing crypto currency in my relatives. Since we knew that the family was first unit of the community it is important to us to share and give ideas about what Bitcoin can do to help our families. Social media is the most effective way to promote btc or other crypto, as an active social media user with a good number of followers it is very easy to occasionally drop post about btc or make a post about btc on your timeline so that your followers can read and ask questions, social media is very effective, it doesn't require any special skills to do it,

Actually this is what Im doing promoting bitcoin through social media and even on Facebook. By sharing some facts and knowledge about bitcoin you can attract some interested people to know what truly is bitcoin. People nowadays are into use daily of social media and it's a great ways to promote it.

Secondly to friends but first will make them understand everything about cryptocurrencies and so on, this is similar to the first one you stated. Also, sometimes is a public group, I can just chip in a question like, have you heard of bitcoin? Do you know you can actually send money to a friend easily with Bitcoin? From this, the questions will start arising and the discussion starts. Another way that is prominent is through social media, where one can easily put up posts or articles with the aim of attracting questions which will lead to more discussion about Bitcoin. One thing is, in whichever way that is suitable to anyone, let the person use it.

Then the best way is in accordance with their respective abilities. Everyone has different abilities, if you recognize your potential then it will be easier to find the best way.
I tend to be introverted, so I lack confidence when talking or explaining directly to other people. Because I like writing, so I chose to write articles on my personal blog as a way to introduce bitcoin.

I agree social media is better but it still depends on what did you post. If you have lots of feedbacks then you are doing a good job! I hope others too. I think it is better to post understandable terms about bitcoin in social media. Using simple terms without the techy side of bitcoin will do, don't just drop a 500 words post about bitcoin, they won't read it . Social media tends to make us feel hurry. We are just skimming our newsfeed and we just ignore anything that really does't capture us in the first sentence. We are much entertained with memes than a new technology with difficult to understood terms. The post will reach more people but still we have to think how they can be interested and informed. We have to make sure they will read it all through out.

I think this is also a good idea, especially if you work in an industrious area; you can simply notify your neighboring offices by renaming your mifi with Bitcoin_urwifi name.
Also, if you are a trader that earns quite well, you can share your trade profits on your facebook and other social media timelines.
