Well I think many of us here are aware of the subreddit GirlsGoneBitcoin where girls accept BTC. Its been existing for years, I have no idea if it had really helped BTC to become popular. If I am however interested to see them naked, I would probably send USD and check them out myself after all they can do camera show for few bucks. I may only send BTC if the girl really will accept BTC alone.

I haven't seen that subreddit yet but I guess it did affect somehow on BTC since people are getting btc in exchange for what they want.

Well I guess adult websites already get the bitcoin as payment mode as other payment processors does not let their service offered to malicious stuff like porn. Just like what paypal did with pornhub, they withdraw their service with pornhub due to some reason but then it was pornhub's fault who did not follow the contract.

I didn't know paypal allowed webmasters to send USD thru paypal, they weren't allowing it back in the days say 2014-2016 because during those days I once worked for an adult company online. I learned that paypal doesn't allow this originally which is why we pay webmasters thru another method like paxful and wire transfer.

With BTC though, companies of any industry can accept BTC without having any trouble, maybe even accept ETH and XRP as well.

Its already been a while for some porn sites do accept crypto as a payment but nothing has changed after all
and i  dont really believe much that it would be worth to pay up some crypto to these sites if you can actually
see majority of those for free.

I don’t like this idea of porn sites making use of bitcoin. Just because the dark webs are making use of bitcoin, a lot of people have already started saying that bitcoin is being used by bad people, criminals, illegal drug sellers and the rest of them. And adding porn to that will just make it worse, because this time around the media is going to say that it’s a currency that’s being by bad people and for illegal purposes, it will be seen as the currency for the underworld and government will likely use that as a means to place a ban on it once the public starts to view it that way.

I got your point. I think you are trying to say, porn industry have huge amount audience. If they start accept btc payment for their service it'll be danger btc reputation. Well they use fiat money right..? So is there any affect on fiat money yet..? i don't think so.

I do not know any porn site already start accept btc payment or not but i guess many adult site already enter this crypto currency world. I don't know they survived or not but we saw those kinda project from last year. As far i know some adult company already use their own currency also. It's digital currency but not crypto currency. So it'll not be surprising or worried thing if they choose btc as a payment method.

FYI the most. visited sites are Google, which is a search engine. Youtube, which is connected to videos and so on. Facebook which is a social media site. I bet these sites are best suited to do he job of taking bitcoin to greatness even more. Maybe porn industry can also have impact, but it is a double edge sword which could also harm btc's image and would not go for a long run unlike the other types of sites.

Those platforms that you've mentioned are already entered the cryptocurrency scene and didn't do anything to the public 'cause all of their assets are for private investors only or the whales. Definitely, it will not harm the image of bitcoin 'cause it was known first as asset to buy illegal stuff in the black market.

And besides, we're making a wide perspective about using bitcoin in every platform and I think porn sites have a great potential on this. The other platform that can really make bitcoin more useful is gaming platforms.

In as much that porn sites are one of the most visited websites on the internet, porn sites can't really make bitcoin very popular.  People visit porn sites for their guilty pleasure and such platforms can't really make Bitcoin popular in as much that people frequently visit such website. When bitcoin is used as a main payment option on porn sites, people will not really pay attention to what bitcoin is and it relevance in terms of anonymity and privacy.  People will only value Bitcoin when they finally understand what it is and how its gonna transform the financial ecosystem.

It will surely help the bitcoin to move forward as the user will continue to grow especially if big companies will accept bitcoin as a means of payment even if it is a porn company. That is the good side of it and the bad side will be the critics will use this opportunity to create another fuds on how dangerous the bitcoin is.

Right now, the users and the investors were divided into two. The one side is they fully accept bitcoin as a good way to send and accept payment and the other side is that bitcoin is a dangerous currency that will likely to be use illegally.
