We should start to think of Bitcoin as a mode of payment like fiat and not to think of it as something detached since at its essence it is what the purpose of Bitcoin is i.e. to become a new way to transact. I think there would be no problem or detrimental effects that porn sites can bring on the cryptocurrency or bitcoin it will help bitcoin to become more popular in the world because as we all know porn site is one of the visited websites in the internet, there are a lot of people watching porn, we cannot deny that, so if the porn sites accept the bitcoin as payment then I think it would be better for us, it will promote the effectiveness of having cryptocurrency in the world. Bitcoin and other different kinds of cryptocurrency are being so prominent nowadays, there are already a lot of countries that accept this as their payment on some transactions.

Of course it needs that. First and foremost Bitcoin requires adoption and it doesn't matter what kind of adoption it will be. It can be a porn site or a chain of brothels.
You have to realize that in all those places people are already paying with fiat money and every fiat payment is like signing a bill with your name and address. I dont think that the usage of bitcoin in pornsites can affect the future of bitcoin, it is still business even though it kinda negative in a way. In addition, we all know that the porn industry can give a big network of people that is why there is a big possibility of mass adoption which is good to bitcoin. every usage of Bitcoin can bring both positive and negative approach but for me in this case since Porn watching  is the most interested sites in the internet and most males wanted to use each sites.

What's wrong with porn OP? It isnt bad or illegal as long the one operating it has necessary permit or authorization. One example of it is pornhub, which I think there is no problem at all. Bitcoin has been on many controversy and this one will be considered as none threat to its image. It's just a payment. Actually its good addition as use case for btc payment scheme.

I agree with OP where a lot of people are needing anonymity with these porn subscriptions. I am a guy and I am also disappointed when I can't access some of their videos where it needed subscriptions.

There are reason for the subscription. They work as legit providers of porn videos, I guess they should know at least some identity of users sincr minors will not be allowed to use their services.

I don't think that there will be a negative impact on Bitcoin and the rest of cryptocurrencies community because first of all it is a digital currency yet not a simple currency but also decentralized, meaning bitcoin is not affiliated with to anyone. Yes because they don't need to have credit cards need to use. Because transactions in bitcoin is anonymous and they don't need to register in 3rd party platforms that will be use to regulate the use of youth in having a account in Pornsite. That's why this is what I think also the negative effect of accepting bitcoin to access those pornsite. And also this is already happening now bitcoin is already accepted in some not famous porn website.
