Is there land in the Sahara that is lower than the waters of the Mediterranean or Atlantic? Run a pipeline to that lowland, and siphon the water down there. The heat will evaporate the water which will humidify the land. The salt and other minerals that are left will be able to be used wherever. Here is what Colonel Gaddafi was working on: The new government, also called the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, made the oil companies state owned and invested a great deal of the oil profits to funnel the flow of drinking water from the underground aquifers, by installing a large number of bore wells throughout the Libyan land. Big farms were created in a southern region of Libya to motivate men and women to relocate to the desert and farm in those places. However, a lot of people in Libya preferred living in the northern and coastal parts of the country, for there was a steady and ample supply of water there. Finally someone who understands what am saying.. am not talking only about the sahara bro.. any other desert or barren land can benefit from this.. Gaddafi was a GOAT. I wonder about that. The stubble on his chin doesn't really look like a goatee.

I think ideas to make that place green should be well researched before they are implemented.
But, I seriously believe if it is the will of the OWNER of this world that that place won't be green again, there is nothing we mere mortals can do about it.... unless the OWNER wants us to do some certain things right before we proceed with the implementation of our ideas.

What are you discussing about guys? Making Sahara a green place? There is a reason why Saharas exist and I wonder why you think of trying to change the geology of those places. There are species that do not like water... We - as people - are always trying to destroy the nature.

Do some research. The reason some species are still there is because they adapted not because that is the way they are.. Now tell what do you do when one habitat is trying to swallow all other habitats?

What if we are the OWNERS?

We as a people have built large pipes to transports huge volume of crud oil over long distances across the globe. Is it so difficult to do the same with water? Why haven't we done the same to transport water from ocean, sea, lake, rivers etc... to deserts all across the world where it is much needed?.
This can help increase the rate of desert greening, re-afforestation and help in the whole lots of other global related problems.
Thoughts>>>
This balanced the world so there iis no way why people need to do it while the truth is we don't have to oblige our life doing such And besides sahara is once a ocean as you can see all are sand meaning in past it is some kind of body of water also this is according to my views but i may be mistaken also. But dont bother making this a problem because.people there survived even before we are born.
