It’s been a while since weekly stats were last uploaded, and in this week s3rd4r who’s a whale has decided to smash his rivals out of the park and claim the top spot for himself. Lastly it’s pertinent to note that there is no competition going on, and these are just the weekly leaderboard updates.

The leaderboards has been reset already and it's the first time that I've seen the guy s3rd4r to be on the top or maybe I missed him before.

@jossiel the leaderboard resets at the end of the weekend so by the time you saw probably the new week had already started, and further s3rd4r is an old whale who’s been wagering bets at Bitdice since 2018. Also s3rd4r is again on top of the leaderboard and that too by a huge margin, and finally after a short break hdf is back too on the leaderboard occupying the third spot for himself. Lastly I can’t wait for the day when these two will battle each other in their conquest to occupy the top spot, and in my personal opinion it’ll be one of most epic battle witnessed on Bitdice.

@jossiel very soon we shall see new contests, and @shoreno yea there’s no competition for now but I have quoted @BoXXoB and Alex’s posts for you, to give you an idea of the competitions that you can expect prior and post Bitdice 5.0 launch. Further both are big whales if you look at their past wagering records, but nothing is guaranteed when a competition begins as many player’s wait till the very end to make their moves, and that’s what makes wagering competitions very interesting to watch.

Yeah not much hype around the competition right now. With new website that we're working on, we'll be changing that

Such competitions expected to be more frequent / ongoing in the future.

We are planning on adding weekly competitions. Most likely separate weekly prizes for each currency.

To answer the questions in a few previous posts - there are various contests planned to be held before the launch of the fully revamped BitDice website (and, of course, after the launch too).

The aforementioned contests will indeed include more wager competitions.

It's not a wagering contest, it's just a normal weekly leaderboard. As tagged by Juggy, it's already on the plans and we shall see it very soon.

Which tells me if they do end up making a contest and actually give something proper away, I am pretty sure they are going to actually get people who would wager over 10 bitcoins and maybe even more. I know they have been saying there will be a contest for a long time, but I can't wait for it! I hope it will start soon enough so we can see all the whales come out of their hiding spot.

It doesn't have to be a competition that gives % of it back, they never really do that in any other casino neither, they usually just do fixed amounts and looking at how much there is in the current version where no money exchange hands, I would say it would still be profitable for them. I couldn't possibly know why they are not doing it, you have to ask the team to answer that and that means they might say the truth or they might lie, we couldn't know that neither.

So at the end of the day, I would say the best thing to do right now is actually wait for them to make it a reality or just hope for nothing at all.

The question is why things goes slow on their side? Many gamblers want to see them on action and for having this kind of slow attitude for the owners will make people bored they should consider that casinos are slowly evolving and many has offered a good promotion so it will be their loss if they let their competitors do a good job while them waiting for players to play on them. I really keep looking for more with bitdice since as you said they are old one who got reputation already but that's not enough for gamblers to cope up.

@fullhdpixel that’s a ridiculous claim as all the details relating to the contest has been posted in this Ann countless time now, and for those who’re not aware Bitdice publishes a quarterly report about their finances so please don’t be misled by this claim.

@shield132 all the details regarding Bitdice expenses and income were mentioned in the quarterly report, and one only needs to read it to understand why the delays took place.

@arwin100 the management is working really hard to bring Bitdice 5.0, competitions for us, and I believe that very soon we we shall see the updated site and some live competitions too.

@shield132 Bitdice sports book has been live since quiet a while now, and you need to login in and then click on sports and then you’ll be able to access their sports book.

Also if Bitdice was a failed site like you have wrongly claimed, then would they have rewarded @Sygambler such a nice bounty for discovering a bug in his sports book bet?.

Further the team has not denied that things didn’t go as per their plans, and they have been as transparent as they can be, therefore I would humbly request you to give them some more time, and in the meanwhile you can join us in Bitdice chat, and meet the team and also check the sports book too.

@Sygambler was indeed awarded a nice bounty when he disclosed the bug, and for the record Bitdice finances are strong and they won’t be bankrupt because of this hack.

yeah indeed , I don't really remember what it was exactly but probably it was something like bet voided with money credited twice to balance or something like that and the bet was  500$ if I remember correctly
after notifying support they told me that I can keep the extra 500$

Would love to make some corrections there.

First of all if you read my first post you would understand that I also said: Casinos usually run different kind of promotions in order to attract new and current players and get more profit. Since bitdice doesn't do that, seems they are already doing fine.

If we also consider the fact that bitdice is a 6 years old casino and was or is having an active advertisement(s) (currently via only sig campaign if I amn't mistaken), then they should be popular and have not only loyal but new players pretty often. That's why I had doubts about lack of profits from this casino.

I really haven't seen any casino sharing these kind of statistics because it's more of a private rather than public information.

They didn't accomplish anything they promised in ICO whitepaper... Now they are just trying to milk investors money to themselves!
