The scamming will continue for as long as there will be naive newbies who believe that they can invest in "good project", and it seems there's still plenty of such people. Nowadays most people know about the dangers of shitcoins, ICO scams, pump and dump and so on, but somehow they believe that they posses the skills to avoid it. and this is where they are wrong. My advice is just stick to Bitcoin, it can't be manipulated in the long run and it's the least risky coin in this whole market.

Crypto scams have been growing fast in the past years, there are tons of exchanges who run with the people money, there are tons of ICOs who are scamming people and there are tons of working hard scammers trying to get our coins.

So, it's a hostile environment, and wasn't easy to deal with it. So, we have to move carefully in this mined field. We have to learn the secure way to hold our coins and the secure way to trade them, another way, we will lose our founds.

To some extent, yes. But not whole cryptocurrencies industry is fake. There may be different individual views on respective experiences, but looking at the entire market value and growth, it's not true.
Perhaps exchanges may create false or fake volumes but entire market capitalization is not surely fake.

You can see that at such short period of time the price can drop terribly which may led you to believe all these are manipulated in every way. It didn't even touch a overbought level but it submerge down from 8700 down to 8300 faster and you got a margin call. You're not the only who observed this phenomenon. I partially agree with the thread starter and yes there has been massive manipulation by all these centralized exchanges, we all know about fake volumes and stuff, similarly exchanges not only have control of all coins at exchange wallets but also they can dump any token anytime because they charge trading fee and earn hundreds and thousands of different coins and tokens everyday that they can dump anytime making life hard for traders and investors.

No matter how many customers a Exchange have they are not all on at once so using their fake Volume its very easy to Trade against the few that is in any given room at one time.

It's no doubt that some exchanges do have fake volumes but I suspect you know nothing about crypto and trading, if you can open up about your trading strategy you will be guide right, try binance, kucoin or huobi for trading, no fake volumes

Ssecondly, trading in crypto currency can indeed be full of risk, but it is not gambling, neither is it a joke. Except you get lucky, or you outrightly dump tokens, if you try trading as a newbie, you are going 90% rekt

It is true that few exchanges has low volumes, but because you perhaps did not dyor, you are unable to identify a trade that has true volume.

If you insist on existence of scam tokens, they will always exist, it is up to you to avoid them totally.

My Advise, dyor and learn the basics about crypto currency and trading in crypto currency.

Fluctuations in trading is normal, it takes the candles up and down in price very quickly. And that is one reason why you need to understand how to trade.

If you think cryptocurrency is all about trading some few coins/tokens on exchanges, then you need to sit up and learn more about the future and potentials of both cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. If you're always loosing when trying to trade, it's probably not your calling as there are lots of people making profit from trading cryptos. However, cryptocurrency is more than just a speculative digital currency you take off profits from due to price fluctuation. A simple google serch about the potentials and importance of cryptocurrency will really help you.

Nah, you get it wrong and I understand that you have a bad experience trading or holding the coins that you have. You even mentioned bitcoin which is inappropriate and has been existing for a decade.
