Thanks for setting up it again at SwC @foma and thanks for that additional prize pool too. I guess I'll register later on at the platform and to those who are interested especially those that afraid about the KYC then don't be worried SwC is really a cool casino and they are not that strict. Hoping this time we'll get more players because the last time we are only 6 players. Can't wait for a flop again with these amazing players!

Every time I see this post makes me feel I should make the effort but I have tough working shifts and this time it is a Sunday for me so I have to sit this one out,,, unless I can find a way to sneak in some time on mobile! Problem is if I keep sneaking time I will probably need to ask a partner to cover for me.

First tournament was held at Sportsbet and technically it was more players, but some of them were afk, so only around 6 were actively playing iirc. Lets hope, we will get a good core of regular players.

Yikes, I really want to join this one but i'm afraid that I might not be able to play right on time. If I am able to use some of my time to play poker then I would join no doubt. I just played online poker the other day but only less players and it's only free roll and if I did spend money to buy in then there's not much player in it compare to free rolls match.

FYI you need earn at least 1 krill (SwC's rakeback program, see here) before you're allowed to chat at the tables.

i just want to throw that out there since private games are a lot more fun when everyone can chat. just play a few raked micro stakes hands before the game and you should be all set.

There are likely many who play poker but noone really wants to play a small private game for barely any money. 8$ prize pool is not enticing anyone.

I thought it was originally announced that there was a .001 buyin? Maybe I just seen the .001 donation to the pool idk.

If the OP wants to send me the password I may play but I'd be more interested in a .005 buyin game or .0025 just to give the winner or winners some cash.

0.001 is the buy-in, so the price pool is of course bigger. The more people register, the bigger the price pool.

The buy-in was chosen and agreed upon, to give everyone a chance of participating without having to spend a fortune. I would be fine with a higher buy-in, but to attract more players, I think it is fine for now. Maybe there could be some high-roller tournaments in the future

I guess for most people, including me, it's not about making profits, but more the fun aspect to play some poker with users from this forum.

Yea I see that the buyin is .001 0 entry fee. Confused me for a sec.

Having fun is ok but with very little money on the line I dont think people play good poker. Just donkey and pray.

it is a 0.001 BTC buy-in. with 5 players, the prize pool stands at 0.005 BTC. (+ the 0.001 BTC i'm paying the winner)

i wish we could run a GTD tourney but we're just a few people running a friendly game. buwaytress may be adding 0.0025 BTC to the pool too, waiting for confirmation on that.

I'm pretty sure I am in. I will register that day, if I can't make it in my registration fee will be sent as a bonus. I'm doing this so I don't put dead chips on the table. Probably 75/25 between first and second.

If I can play that also means I'll be at home and able to screencapture the tournament which could make for some fun later on.

@yahoo you're not wrong but the nice thing is this brings in players if all skill level. It can make it hard to play good poker but I've also seen I believe betwrong have strong consistent showings playing solid poker.

I'd love to see us with something like 20+ players for a good time. This also reminds me I've been meaning to check out some of their other tournaments just for something new; wouldn't hurt to be able to chat as well.

After reading all the comments on this thread and another one dedicated to the previous tournaments, I have a feeling that all of us would agree on 0.0025 buy-in.

We are wondering why do we have so few participants each time, but maybe yahoo62278 is right in saying that good poker players can be discouraged by too small prize pool.

I propose to raise the buy-in to 0.0025 BTC next time.

What do you guys think about this?

I'm not sure. This might be too much for some players, but a try would be good. Then we'll see if there are more or less people in the game.
