I do not understand that still we are facing this problem, I know about this type of scam from 2017, thats why many admins have in their name - We don´t PM you, Not giveaway Ethers. But, this is problem of the application - Telegram guarantees anonymity and this is the heaven for scammers.

One thing I know very sure is, admin of exchanges doesn't private chat a user first and also they can't private chat you first and demand for funds so when such people comes your way always have it at the back if your mind that they are scammers. Let's be vigilant.

Scammers are literally everywhere. You can't find a place without them. Those who are in this market for a long time know how to handle scammers. But those who are new are the one who stuck on their trap. So be careful. And know one thing a big projects or exchange's admin never text you first. Even sometimes they don't reply. So who ever texting you first and called them admin of  x or y. Don't listen to them.

Thats right, if someone pm you regarding your problem dont entertain it because its a scam. Always raise your concern only on the telegram discussion so that admin can address your issue accordingly because they will never ask for a deposit or payment. Unfortunately many newbies are still getting victimize by these scammers, lack of awareness are usually the problem.

I had the same experience before, they created a similar account but you will check its username, which is slightly different from the original acct. Usually, they get their victims from the official channels who are posting their problems towards the exchange. What they will do is pm the user and offer for help. But before they will help, they will ask for some "fee". When they started to ask fee from me, that's when I doubted that it was a fake acct. A legit exchange will not ask for a fee to resolve your case. Always check for the official accounts.

if somebody got some issue with the exchange i suggest to contact the support by email,
because in my opinion its safer, and if we want to contact in telegram group just pm the peoples who tagged as admin in the group buddy

It is a good information for those who's are new or they still don't know about these kind of scammers. Now a days thousands of scammers are finding their targets to steal money/tokens/coins etc.

They can use different trikes and very advance technology. Exp: Someone steal my friends funds from myetherwallet he had their more than 500 dollar in his account. Scammer sent him a tine file in his PC through email and tolled him to install in in his computer then after few minutes he received a message your fund has been transfer to the anonymous address.

for traders who are experienced then they will understand the sentence but for new traders who are still easily affected then they will try to make transfers, at least there are new traders who provide guidance like this to avoid being hit by a scam.

Not only from representative of exchanges, if you are active in telegram you will get random messages offering you if you want to make money from gambling binary, forex and airdrops if you are greedy you will tempted to fall in their scheme and you will end up getting scammed by these people.

Good thing telegram have managed to identify those scam users or even channels. Usually they have a labeled acam on their name if you check carefully. Exchanges like Binance usually have impersonators, and these thieves usually message those people that are asking about certain question regarding investment. They will just disguise using the person avatar and imitate the username somehow with replacing some silent letter on their names.

Newbies have been suffered from these people and they thought they send real funds to the official members but remember that these admins will never first pm you and ask to send money. This is a hint for everyone but I assume everyone knows this method already.

The exchange's telegram group is a haven for scammers. As soon as a new member joins, the scammer goes to the inbox and knocks the member using the admin's name to get account information. Scammers knock on the inbox even if another member asks for something related to the account in the group. Many have resorted to this tactic and have lost funds or been scammed in many other ways. I still get a lot of messages every day. I waste their time chatting with them.

I am angry with people like that scamming our fellow crypto enthusiasts. Newbies should be careful and wise. Just recently I posted some questions on well-known binance owned Multicoin wallet - Trustwallet it's hilarious those scammers are faster than the admin's reply. Everyone that DM on telegram without stating their business with you block it. Also, Admin never DM first. If he DM first verify it on the group, send a message to the admin with admin tag and you will see which one is real or fake.
