Every single telegram channels or groups of crypto exchanges are tagged by scammers, be extremely careful

The moment you have a problem with an exchange you will instantly get messages from people claiming to be team of the exchange, you can get the following messages

1. How can we help you?
2. What problem are you facing on our exchange?

They will pretend to be the exchange help service and they will ask you to make deposit to get your issue resolved, honestly if you aren't familiar with scammers you can easily fall victim

Group channel of exchanges like binance, kucoin, Okex, huobi are full of scammers waiting for people that needs the team help to resolve an issue, be wise

telegram is a place where scammers are free to do what they want because the message is easily deleted.

This example is just one of a million strategy they use,so if you wanted to keep safe then better keep distance in using telegram.

i am not saying that all in telegram are scam,and also this is not happening in other social media site but at least this is the most popular cases we have here.

Telegram scams have been increasing as per the time and we have to simply stop it. Many newbies get scam on telegram, just because of their greedy nature and lack of knowledge. I think we just need not reply to the unknown users who try to start a conversion, doing this simple thing can help you to not get in the scam.

I often get a PM from people like that. they claim to be from the technical team that can help the problems we experience. but I did not reply to their message. I know they will not help anything.

True! Many teams announced beforehand that they're not going to PM anyone personally. Therefore, when you receive a message from anyone who claimed they're from the team, just ignore it! All of the technical problems will be discussed in the main chatting group!

Admin or ceo of the gc will never send a pm on us.. you have to send them a direct message first.. never share any important details to someone or else you will lose everything

mostly people trapped on fake account which is send telegram member an offer. whether it's help or will offer a token with a low price. and unfortunately many people scammed , and they loss their money. when discord be crypto communication tool, we see many scammers too there. and now group admin warn to all member that their dev team never pm first to avoid victim.

Yeah telegram group ia full of scam and spam.
The official of some projects is sometimes have a spam member with name code "Delete Account" with a lot of them is bot.
We will becareful of that group and don't you ever click that link below in spam Account.

Those scammers can steal the picture or identity that being used by the admine but they can't steal the telegram link that already used by admin. There was a lot of admins in various groups aware about this and they have been creating so many awareness thread and keep it update anytime.

Impersonation is very common in crypto telegram groups, either top exchanges group or popular altcoins group, since I've been using telegram I haven't seen a real PM from people that aren't scammers, we need to be careful

Its already a classic way of scamming but there are still newbie investors that getting being fooled just because they have thought that they are dealing with the right person
without even knowing or trying to make up some verification before making any transaction that they should think first that behind tx will really be an unsual stuff to happen
and with that alone you can already presume out that theres some shady acts happening but people are just too dumb.

This is why i do leave TG and never looked back.This place is infested with lots of bots/scammers/fake accounts etc.

I think this method has grown like all other scam methods not because of the idea being good but because people do believe in it. That is the thing about scams, if you can scam people by doing something, others will start doing it as well and it will get bigger and bigger. You think "Nigerian prince scam" is something silly and when you get a mail like that you delete it and laugh at it right?

Well, there are tens of millions of dollars scammed that way every single year, it is not a stupid scam because it works every single year, it is just common sense to people who use internet for a long time to know it, but elderly still fall for it. So, now you know telegram group scammers exist, and you laugh that they think it might work on you, but the thing is, it does work on some people to some degree.

In this kind of industry we cannot really eradicate those who are good in taking advantage to other such as scammers. I think we just need to be more vigilant and more cautious in dealing with such cases like that in order for us to avoid being scammed by scammers and con artists.

I often get that, when I ask a question in a group it will be answered by a stranger asking for help. not only a problem in the exchanger, but also the project group or bounty. there must be someone who sends a personal message offering a variety of investments with large and varied profit gains. my advice, do not you respond to it.
