Not only do they steal your BTC straight from your account and then refuse to even reply to support tickets..

They also offer incentives like there 700 Yoda to get people to there exchange then lock away there airdrop.. only to then steal the BTC and LTC you had on there exchange.

dominikherzog the Admin that shares support tickets in there chat box to try and embarrass there customers.

Be very aware of this exchange as it is a scam..

over 1000 coins listed and yet only around 12 wallets work, every other wallet is in maintenance.

Only people that seem to use yobit now is scammers with there shit coin..

be very careful using this exchange.

i have £38287 missing..

Hi CryptKeeper2020,
Sorry for your loss.  This exchange has been accused of shady dealings many times over.  The more proof you can share with us the better.  It's unlikely we'll be alble to help you get your money back, but perhaps we can prevent these scammers from continuing to besmirch the crypto currency community.

Also, I know you're new here which is probably why you posted this in the "Currency Exchange" board, but it's the wrong section.  I suggest you move it to the "Scam Accusations" board, which where it really belongs.  You can move this thread yourself; there's a button at the bottom of the page, on the left hand side.

Welcome to Bitcointalk.org.

Sorry for posting in the wrong section..

I have read previous posts on here many years back but as it was still open for trading i thought they had redeemed themselves but it seems they can get away with daylight robbery.

I had 2 accounts from 2016.. one for myself and one for my partner, i forgot my email password and so did she as we made these email addresses to use for crypto exchange's and other websites related to crypto just incase there was any data breaches on the sites used..

we both know our email addresses and passwords for yobit as the website asks us to use a authentication code from the email sent.

We cannot access these email accounts to get the code.

When contacting support there is zero response regarding both accounts.

Its shocking!!!

I must point out that another exchange we used SouthExchange, there support accessed both accounts and transferred all assets into our new account within a few minutes of us confirming certain details.

baddest exchange ever

It's better to create a more sustainable accusation like screenshot of your deposit and conversation of your ticket, that way your accusations will look valid and people can make it a good reference, anyone can drop an accusations but it needs a more solid back up to sustain it.

I have no idea what Yoda is, but it sounds like one of their proprietary scam coins that they offer in the investbox thing--correct me if I'm wrong, which I probably am.  At this point it seems like they're grasping at straws trying to entice people to trade on Yobit, and I don't think it's going to last for much longer.

over 1000 coins listed and yet only around 12 wallets work, every other wallet is in maintenance.
Twelve wallets might be a serious exaggeration, but I definitely know where you're coming from, and I even started a thread about this exact situation--I don't know what exchanges like Yobit are up to when they keep wallets in perpetual maintenance mode, but it's a shady practice at best.  Yobit ought to delist about 75% of what they currently offer, since many coins have zero trading volume and are essentially dead coins.

It is a coin made by yobit without any kind of blockchain. YODA was given to the promoters as a form of airdrop but coins were locked in their investbox, you can get a small percent return if you do some social share activity for them.
In return, they attract some newbie investors by pumping the coin price and dump their coin later. It is not the first time, not the last time too.

Personally i never had any problems in the past with Yobit, they often listed shitcoins you could dump after bounty ends.
But that was 2017. I can imagine that they would resort to this kind of behavior if things have been bad with liquidity lately.
And many, many scam accusations confirm it it would seem.

I guess fair warning to everyone is to try to get their coins out ASAP.
But be smart, try it piece by piece.

I remember when one, now deceased exchange was acting shady, i wanted to withdraw my ETH. So i put a withdrawal order in place, only to be greeted with a message that ETH withdrawals might take up to 2 weeks to be processed. Ref flag? Yes sir. Luckily i had some DOGE coins on it as well, and i saw that withdrawal of those was instant.
So i bit the bullet, exchanged all my ETH to DOGE and withdrew DOGE. I lost about 5% of the funds to fees and conversion. But 5% is better than all of it

I have never had any problems with this exchange, although there are many negative things on the internet. My balance on the exchange was never more than $ 1000, I wouldn't hold more than that. It's too risky for me
