There are always users who make some posts which I would qualify as "SPAM" in some of my sales threads.
And these have mostly nothing to do with the topic.
Some might be just some "spammy comments", I have seen also some "false/fake scams accusations" (which I replied, however these belong to the SCAM Accusations Board) or other subjects.
I reported them to the mods and none action has been taken so far.
Can someone explain me why these spams are not removed?

Thank you!

Maybe they haven’t gotten to them yet, or they feel spam on sales threads isn’t a high priority. In the meantime you should just consider it a free bump of your thread.

Lol it's true. In sometime, might those comments were still being considered as spams or not, but moderators too busy to review all reports at once so they prioritize to deal with other cases first.

Maybe mods have their own criteria so that a post can be said to be spam/offtopic and that means the report you sent isn't accurate enough. You should further reduce the standard of your assessment of spam posts if it can be accepted by all parties so that your report will be accurate.

Also (IMO), all forms of posts on a scam accusation thread can show how much support or opposition to the accusation.
And people will post on the sales thread only if they have an interest.

Can you go to your report history and check the status, possible that your reports might not have been handled yet.

ps: report history option shows after you have 300 reported posts.

The staff here is not going to remove complaints about your services for you. whether they are "fake" or legit. If you wish to have service threads that are free of complaining customers, you have the option to create self-moderated threads. Then you can delete whatever "spam" you want.
I suppose that you can also make a rule on your threads that all complaints should not be posted on your thread, but in the scam accusations board, pms or elsewhere. However, the staff may still not help you enforce your rules.

This ^. Many of my Graphic Design threads were also tarnished in the past, there is no point in creating a service thread without it being self-moderated, I learned the lesson the hard way. You might get fake reviews from your competition. Most of them go like this!

SCAM STAY AWAY!

Move your current thread to archival and make a new self-moderated one... Good Luck!

If they aren't breaking forum rules then moderators will never remove post from your sales thread either its positive or negative. Report them with proper reason and write on the comment section which rules they are breaking. Regarding scam accusation, there is no business with moderators since scams aren't moderated by forum. As @Thekool1s said, you should open self moderated thread if you prevent spam or negative replies.

Use self moderated threads. This is literally one of the main reasons the ability was added as a feature.

If it is spam rather than scam, then just think of it as a free bump for your topic.

Allright! Thank you! This makes sense!

Now I see the importance of self-moderated ones!
