Yes. This is a patience game. The roller coaster ride will stay for how many months and what's the most important matter is that you are not letting the opportunity pass alone and you're buying at the every single buying opportunity.

I have read analysis that says $5k should be the bottom and it actually did. Within a span of less than 24 hours, $2k less for bitcoin and around or more than $70-B has been wiped out.

The coronavirus or the NCov19 really hit the market of fiat currency and the cryptocurrency but we are now focused to the bitcoin from the previous weeks of the bitcoin before the outbreak happens it is continuously pumping and it is a good market graph and one day after the government of the china announce that they are a virus spreading rapidly on their country the market price of the bitcoin immediately fall down because some of the people there make sure that their money is safe and can be used to survive for the whole outbreak and they use those to buy a lot of things they need foods, clothes, personal hygiene and more to avoid the spreading of the virus from the previous weeks it is rapidly dropping came from 9k dollars after two days its fall into 6k and now we are here in the price of 5k after a week it is become stable on the price of 5k to 6k range and now we are looking forward to the market income of the bitcoin again to make more profit to us and stable on the market.

According to the Reuters, China is successfully fighting Coronavirus and they reported that more people are cured from the virus than died.

It is safe to say now that coronavirus was behind the markets crash, stock, oil as well as Bitcoin.

So how does this affect the markets?

If it's to be trusted, China says the pandemic should end around June: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus/trump-stops-europe-flights-china-says-coronavirus-could-end-by-june-idUSKBN20Z0DY

Until then, you can count on prices dropping. When you look back at it, prices started dropping around the same time coronavirus was introduced by the media and fear started spreading.

If we are to expect the fear continues into June, prices should keep falling until June.

Be patient until June and then buy.

The World Health Organization stated that COVID-19 is already a pandemic and everyone knows that already. It affected us globally and internally. Markets and economies weaken, along with Bitcoin's depression and it is true and inevitable because people have this fear of getting bankrupt and have liabilities. This results to them selling their coins rather than buying. And this just proves the decemtralized property of Bitcoin because we control the price. I agree with you when you said to be patient. There are already numerous cases of Bitcoin's seem-to-be tragedy but it always get its way. So, as long as we will be rational and critical thinkers, I think we'd be safe and eventually, we can regain the standard system.

This is what Coronavirus (COVID 19) did to Bitcoin:

But still, I am glad that this rout helped to alleviate some of the myths related to Bitcoin. Some of the analysts claim that Bitcoin is different from other investment assets, and therefore it may be resilient at times of economic meltdown. But the exact opposite happened now. BTC has lost value even more than other assets such as equities and bullion.

I don't believe that the epidemic Corona virus has a connection with the current drop of Bitcoin and most of the real hodlers of Bitcoin firmly believe in this digital asset and will never sell during dumps. I think there are some people who spread FUD about the current virus situation to connect it to the current market situation of the crypto world, based only on my own opinion.

This is also what I believed last 2019, with the corona virus being discovered and only circulates in China I don't think it would really impact such market like crypto but it has shaken the world of stock which what might be the very reason why it rattles the crypto world, So for me this is an indirect result of coronavirus disease. I firmly believe that we already achieve the price resistance at $4K, so there would be no dump beyond that point perhaps bitcoin hodlers tried to jump into another ship.

The chinese government have medicine to cure this disease and the latest update from wuhan that people who have been infected have declined there and they returning doctor volunteers to various regions that I think the corona virus pandamic will end soon. As for another country, I think that should learn to chinese government and they can buy a medicine to treat the people who has infected. Actually bitcoin doesn't need to wait for this pandamic end, because in few days ago bitcoin has increased.

Coronavirus or COVID-19 basically affected everything. The cure has not yet been completed so everyone must do everything they can to slow down the infectivity, severity, and lethality of it.

Everyone should do the things the health professionals told us too like the proper doings for coughing, washing our hands, and etc. and wait for the cure to be completed. It will end when there is no one who has the virus. And the question would be, how the world will look after we survive the COVID-19 pandemic? This disease has devastated lives, markets and exposed the competence of the government. Although the pollution have been reduced due to the lack of activity of people.

Twelve leading global thinkers have been asked for their predictions. You can read it here:

Covid 19 is not a media created fear mongering, countries started getting affected because of the wide spread of the diseases and many countries are forced to order curfew and when that happens there is no business that is going on and the retail sector will be completely affected and so is the case with manufacturing sectors and if there are no jobs because of these curfew then how do you think that the economy will fair, the markets will perform according to the economical situation and so is the reason the markets went down drastically. It will take a few months for everything to become normal and everything function normally until then stay safe.

Be patient until June and then buy.

On the contrary side to this, I think buying in the deep is profitable than when price have started going up. If China has estimated June to be when corona virus will be stopped, then should we wait at the bull to buy ? I think the best is to look for a reasonable deep and get in.

US Indices are also affected because of the Coronavirus not only currencies and cryptocurrencies. The big indices like SPX500, DJI and NASDQ100 crashed also because of the virus that continuing spreading. But there are always market opportunities even though there are crashes that keep happening, like in international markets where we can do short selling.

I think that whoever had to sell has already done that. All the weak hands are already sitting on a pile of fiat, thinking about their next move.
With the decrease of new cases in China and the coming of Summer, I think we won't have to endure this epidemic for more than the next 2 months. The worst is behind us.
The scary truth is that most of us will get infected, but I've recently read that about 50% of all infected have no symptoms. There's really no need to worry, it's not the end of the world, not yet!

It's very hard to tell how exactly corona virus crisis affects Bitcoin. To my opinion part of Bitcoin users will sell their coins because of.panic, fear or need because some of them have already lost their jobs due to effect of corona on economies. The final effect will be visible after few months when this everything ends.

I think, the way corona virus is negatively affecting the economy of different countries, do reflect on the market prices of cryptos. My basis is that, when this virus arose, there's no effect to the market prices at all, but the moment it became pandemic or simply 'viral' when cases were reported to different countries, things have changed. The market prices of cryptos not only bitcoin, fell in an instant approximately 47% within few days. Many businesses, establishments were forced to stop operating because the aim is to avoid interactions with one another, making it not surprising to know that things as well as online services were also affected.

When the corona virus started and begins to spread all over the world, many people was afraid of that. That's why many countries are in lock down now and because of that many businesses and markets are down deeply. It really effects the bitcoin and nobody knows how the bitcoin could deeply down on following days. Indeed, many people are hoping that this upcoming June everything will be okay, but for now we must priority our health before anything else.

snip..
the life of the Chinese population has slowly been confirmed to be normal as usual after passing through the Covid-19 crisis.  but other countries have just felt the peak of the spread of the Covid-19 virus and are likely to recover like China within the next 1 month.  I don't know for sure but it seems that the cause of the sluggish price of Bitcoin is not because of Covid-19 (this thread is my reason).  my advice for now.. just follow the latest updated about Covid-19, if you have more money you should buy Bitcoin or other assets such as company shares that are currently on average are falling..

Were they referring to every country as a whole or they mean that it will end around June in their country?
What about countries in Africa where there are poor health systems and bad government?

These are the countries that will find it difficult in handling such a virus. It was a difficult case for developed countries , so come to think of these underdeveloped countries and how difficult it might be for them. It has already started spreading in these countries. If they were to restrict travels earlier it wouldn’t have been like this.

It is controversial  to hope that everything will end in June. To effectively combat coronavirus, we need a vaccine, and its development is a very long process. Personally, I heard that development should take at least 3 months, then another clinical trial. I think that the vaccine will not be earlier than September-December.

They do just fine. Another thing, moonsoon season to start soon in some places. No virus can spread with everyday raining all day long.
Bacteria and Virus are not friends.

With the rate of the spread of this virus,  the information that the pandemic will end by June is unrealistic; as the spread rate in Europe, the United states and even Africa increases by the day.  The WHO don't see this pandemic ending in few months atleast not until a cure is developed.
In the light of this,  the rise and fall of bitcoin can not the predicted,  especially not in this period of crisis.
