I kinda noticed that people will just easily call a project scam without even researching about the project, their judgement is solely based on the price and does not consider that most altcoins are affected by the bear market. If they can't change their mentality, this would affect the reputation of the project, this is like destroying a project's reputation in bad times, instead of helping them.

If the project is not working in development after the ICO it most likely to be called scam project. Even we are in the bear market it will not decline huge deep if they are working and answering o😑for community concerned about the project.

They are only affected with the price because they dont give tge right update to investors to help them not to be worried about what is happening to the project.

I've seen few projects in the past that people talk bad about them but later the projects prove them all wrong, how about that? What people says won't have impact on a project, the team only need to concentrate on their development and show the world what they are capable of

Because most people can't see further than their nose.
Unless they can sell with a profit, in their eyes, project is a scam.
We have to remember that 90%+ people are here becauae of the money,  ot because if the idea.
And even if they like the idea, they are hoping to make money on it

people say that because statistics show how important price is. 88 percent of projects that fall in price by 20-30-40 times are then never restored. this suggests that they simply cannot do their job normally. that is why we call it a scam. for me, price is also the main indicator of a good project

Maybe the person who judges a coin whose price is falling is a scam is the person who bought the coin at a high price. In my opinion, falling prices are not an indication of a scam because it can happen to other coins. Scam indication in my opinion is if the team has not communicated to the community about the development of the project

Almost all investors in crypto space are here for the money so they have no patience to begin with, they only want quick profit and they hate waiting, once their aims failed to come to reality there will be problems, they will definitely start saying bad things about the project

Lets just say one of the most terrible feeling is to watch your portfolio dump towards 60% loss right before your eyes, even after getting every basic information right. And doing the utmost research too.

BTC trading pairs suffered more in the market because bitcoin dumped so much. Now is the time for the projects to stand up and proof that they are not shit, by taking a rise in price to where it originally belongs.

A project is called a scam because the project team is not able to develop the project they are working on. At the time when ICO was still ongoing, the price of the token has an appeal from the public. And after the token is released to the market, the price of tokens actually dropped dramatically and was unable to rise again at prices determined during the ico period. I think a project like this deserves to be call a scam, because the project development team did not have a good mission to develop their project.

That called "risk" when sometime new startups must face the bad people who only blame at small projects but dont really want research them. That's so annoying but projects can't do anything but ignore them and focus on searching for true supporters.

People are in a hurry to call project scam and we have seen this with many outstanding project. I think project scam should be mentioned when project fails to deliver on promise within the speculated time, if there are no obvious reason for the delay. When project with big exchange listing, dump price in a bull market ( either short or long ) and persist for weeks with no genuine reason for the dump, it could be a bad implication of investors exit by loss of trust, team dump token from excess reserve or some negative news. Most team wont release such information so individual holders should look for inside information if he can.

Yes, we cannot say scam through the low price of a token issued by the project, because they also will not be able to control the full market, are free to question and also not intentionally on the part of the team to make their own token and trade prices, projects like this can be completed the project has fallen into a scam.

In the first place those scam project is the reasons why we are now in the long bearmarket season's.
Because of those scam project created and continue to sell all the money they accumulate thays the reasons also why the price of eth now is hard to get back even 1/4 of the price from ATH.
There is no way investors can help them to increase the price this will only base of what they do to the money they have and make a good development before investors will come to trust thier project.

First any person tagging a project scam just because the price is not encouraging without taking a look on if the project is really developing or not is wrong. Also, it is true that bear market affects all coins but even at that there are most projects survives the bear market and continue growing even though the price might not be what it was while there are others that once hit by bear market tends to start dying slowly, hence the reason they are being tagged scam. In addition, projects which survives bear market are projects which have something to offer thus whether low price or not continue growing, improving etc.

Well, this kind of people are not investors, -- they are just a dumper that they all wanted to have and seen is profit. Once other bounty hunters sell their share token, of course, it will dump and others will start to say that the project is a scam even it is obviously is not. They did not know how the markets will work after listing especially if the project have a plan of organic growth not just because of hype that will boost the price in just a matter of days.

Don't tell me you can call now Bitcoin is a scam because the price was in a dip and it was drastically going down. You can't judge the project by the price, but you can judge it of how the team works and developed the project. Indeed, just have good research first.

When Ethereum was $400 in June 2017 and it went down to $180 on 15 July everyone called it a scam, a "wealthy" exit by the founders.
Was Ethereum a scam? No

Most people can be in crypto for years and they will still not understand it. That's how amazing this industry is

Word scam is used to much in crypto. Some projects specially ICOs were total scams. So those that started them just took money and go lying on the beach somewhere. Others were that those that started project have no knowledge how to make it. So is made bad and even if it would be perfectly made would bring no profit to those that bought ICO coins. Those coins are of course not even share of a project but just a useless coins/tokens.  This people are nor really scammers since they are doing what they wrote in their white paper. But on other hand they took investors money and will not give them anything useful in return.

For coins that should act as a currency all premine is a scam. Money made out of thin air. There are quite some such.

Price at all this is totally irrelevant.

Not all the coins in the crypto market are real. When the team and developers talk about different development during ico. And after ico they forget about everything and development is not progressed. Prices of tokens fall regularly and do not see an opportunity for recovery. Investors then call the project a scam. Everyone is invested in ico for profit. If the prices have dropped 30-40 times then investors have nothing else to do.

People won't change, this has become a norm for them, once a project suddenly witness a down trend in price, the next people would say is it's a scam project not considering the time we are , presently any coin would go down considering that BTC is even facing a downward trend. That attitude should stop.
