COVID-19 is still spreading all over the world, there are so many people affected by the virus, there are a lot of people who can not work anymore because of being afraid to go outside.

We should do something to prevent COVID-19 from spreading to each and everyone, if we want to play gamble, please do not go outside and find any nearest casino building just to play. I know that real life casino is better when playing because we can interact to anyone and we can also feel the ambiance of the real life casino but as of this moment, it is better to play online gambling than real life casino, it is better for you to stay at home to avoid contact to many people.

On our current situation, as we are now facing COVID-19, online gambling will be more used than real life gambling, there are a lot of people who are afraid of going outside because of the virus, so instead of playing real life casino, they will choose to play online gambling to avoid contact from other people, Crowded places are the most source of getting the virus because you may not know that one of your opponent can be positive in the gambling, and if he or she is positive from virus then for sure that the virus may pass to each and everyone inside the casino especially if the casino is so crowded.

Indeed, I doubt that there are still some people who are willing to go casino gambling even we the virus is still spreading all over the world. Hmm, we got different point of view regarding this matter. You are right, only 2% (or below as far as I know) is the mortality rate of Covid 19 so panicking is unnecessary at all. Actually, SARS is more fatal than it (around 10% I think) that's why I'm confused why people are acting like it's the end of the world already . Why they panic sell and too scared to go outside? Remember, the virus is not airborne, it can be only obtained through droplets so as long as you cover your mouth and wash your hands at all times then everything is alright. Well, I understand that they are just making sure they will be prepared when the worst case scenario happen but I hope people do not buy it too much because it creates more fear thus leaving a stigma.

Well said mate, if we cannot limit ourselves from gambling even in the current situation we have right now, at least we should make good things to prevent ourselves from being involved to the virus, the best thing that we should do if we really want to play gambling is to play through online, it is the best thing that we can do to prevent contact to everyone especially on the crowded places like real life casino.

Yes, but you forgot one important part.
The mortality rate is low and it mostly affects the elderly. Chances are if you get infected that you will recover. But what if you infect your dad, grandmother or the old neighbor next door. Will he recover considering that most of the dead are aged 70+? That is a gamble I am not willing to take.

I think most governments are applying that now to prevent the spreading virus. Our government is trying to imply social distances and just recently our president announced community quarantine in some cities to avoid interacting with a lot of people.

Those governments in different countries that are affected, I think they are really trying their best that they can to avoid more cases. But as a citizen, we should also help them by simply obeying and cooperating the authorities. That's the least we can do. If you really want to gamble, you can do that online. Ignorance I suppose? Numbers may have been told, authorities may have informed others, but more and more false information is being spread compared to legitimate ones. And users, gullible as they are, spread this information unknowingly that they are spreading false ones which literally just contributes more to the mass panic already happening. Mass hysteria regarding the virus could literally be seen in our country, with facemasks and alcohol/sanitizers being bought out and having the police to intervene about the hoarding some of the buyers do.

I have read an article about a vaccine being discovered that would treat and aid this issue. But I forgot that particular article and also, I haven't heard of such thing from the news so maybe, that is still a hoax or just a rumor. But I do also hope that it would be created soon as possible because we are now seeing the inconvenience the virus is giving to us.

Many people do panic a lot because they have experienced different viruses before which might become a stimuli for them to panic, because they are anticipating worse possibilities to happen. But as far as I have read, those who have weak immune system such as the elders and the childrens are most prone to the said disease.
