Is encryption-related suicide a real problem?

This problem is already very common, and I often see similar information. I want to write about the seriousness of this problem from two aspects (heaven and hell are just a matter of thought). Satan is the devil, and this devil is human desire.

Speaking of this problem from an objective perspective.

  • Bitcoin runs 24 hours a day without interruption, no breaks, no holidays, unless the end of the earth.
  • The extremely large volatility of the Bitcoin market price, especially when heavy warehouses enter the market, can easily cause psychological trauma and complications.
  • The Bitcoin wallet address is lost, or the Bitcoin is transferred to a wrong address.

From a subjective point of view (Bitcoin participants)

  • Without a sound investment plan and investment strategy, many people put all their eggs in one basket.
  • Bitcoin participants have relatively low psychological resilience, impatient and easily irritable, and often have no EQ and IQ when their emotions are out of control.
  • Those who follow others do not have their own cognition and knowledge reserves. They do not understand that cognition determines wealth. Fortunate wealth will eventually return Bitcoin to market fluctuations.

I hope everyone can have a good attitude towards Bitcoin. This is not only an investment activity, but also a belief.

Whether you're invested in bitcoin, whatever altcoin, or even the stock markets, if you've been having suicidal thoughts, please think twice and try talking to a professional.
Suicide in investing is common. But for crypto is a real pity. The only thing that can be done is not to be ignorant, to overdo it, to leave a path to retreat. Some people are not confident enough and knowledge about the market always causes a negative influence. I do not expect to see this number increase in the future. Lol
Ensure health - maintain state by healthy sports entertainment to relieve pressure, depression. Although I also smoke a lot of cigarettes sometimes when the market has a lot of big holes.

It is difficult for you to make money from things that are outside the scope of your knowledge. You have to consider many issues before you want to invest.
Like investing in Bitcoin, you can’t understand Bitcoin, don’t understand what consensus is, and losing money is not accidental, it is destined.
  • I think it is very important to invest the principal without pressure. If you are borrowing money to invest, then your money may be forcibly withdrawn at any time, which will affect your transaction.
  • controlling the risk. Take profit and stop loss are necessary conditions for long-term survival.
  • Maintain a good mentality, any investment that affects your life bukequ. If you insist on investing in Bitcoin in the long-term, then short-term price fluctuations should not affect your mood. For example, on Black Thursday last year, the price of Bitcoin plummeted, and many short-term players sold one after another. In this kind of loss, such short-term players are more likely to buy when the price rises, sell when the price falls, and buy back at a lower price.

Short term investors are losers in market crashes. Last year in March, this year in May, June and July.

They are losers because they don't really believe in future of Bitcoin. They only begin their investment with greed and lack of knowledge. They are fearful with market crashes and if they are leverage traders, they don't have chance to choose between selling or holding because their margin positions will be liquidated by exchanges.

After market crashes, long term investors get richer and they have more power to manipulate the market in the future.

Short term investors, traders and losers are fearful when price dives but they are greed when price soars. They do oppositely to long term investors.

People, just relax, that is my advice.
First when I first started with Bitcoin, about seven years ago, I was focused very much on price. But with time and experience, when I learned how Bitcoin is functioning my attitude changed.
Now I'm not watching the price all the tin, unles I'm trading, I'm aware of volatility and fact that Bitcoin price moves both ways. So, it will not fall but neither rise all the time. Learn to adjust, to be flexible with your portfolio.and everything will be.much easier for you.

Ever since i joined crypto, i am wondering how day traders who do this for a living survive the stress which comes with crypto. If i had vast amount of my and somebody else money on the stake every day like that, i would go crazy.
I am luck that right now i cant really go into minus, because i entered so early, but i can still remember early 2018 massacre, when i probably lost thousands of hair.

Well, most traders are already pro. Pro when it comes in trading, handling emotions, asset managements etc. so they are well prepared. And also, REAL traders are those who are not just simply jumping into something without proper analysis conducted such as TA and FA to at least avoid higher chances of losing money. So I believe pro traders won't get mentally affected by whatever will happen in the market.

For me, only those people who are not prepared on things are the ones who will get mentally affected by what is happening around them, whatever it is, crypto related or not.

We are actually the ones who put ourselves on a certain situation we aren't sure and that soon we can longer handle  Which might lead to depression, mental illness, suicide attempts etc. So how can we avoid it?

Let's all try to equip ourselves with knowledge when it comes to crypto trading, and become emotionally strong. Because tbh, no one can help you unless you help yourself.

As traders and Bitcoin holders, our mental health is really being tested, because a very sharp decline like now will make us mentally fall and we really have to think clearly so as not to panic sell. When a big loss befalls us, of course we will feel suicidal, especially if the trading capital uses a loan. For those of us who are new to the crypto world of course this often happens, but for experienced people this may be a natural thing, Bitcoin price volatility is unavoidable but we can get through it by staying calm and focusing on trading so that we will get a good opportunity. good. Okay, for profit.

We talk, and discuss about Bitcoin’s price and our mental health, but what about the price of Bcash SV and HIS mental health? Hahaha.

Bcash SV’s price is so frustrating, that it’s making him say things that even his own people, who are crazy, think are crazy. Cool

It's that time again, where bitcoin(and pretty much almost every other non-stablecoin cryptocurrencies) does a huge nosedive. This is just a reminder that whatever amount you've "lost" with the market  crash, in the end, it's just money. Money can be made back in the future through multiple various ways, whereas you have only one life to live. It's not the end.

Whether you're invested in bitcoin, whatever altcoin, or even the stock markets, if you've been having suicidal thoughts, please think twice and try talking to a professional.

For the suicide hotline for the country you're in, please refer to this list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_suicide_crisis_lines

Times like today are so reminiscent of the last market crash whereas suicide-related posts and suicide hotlines are popping out on multiple crypto-related subreddits. But yea, this might be cheesy as hell, and while a lot of people here have been here since like forever(hence are probably immune to the effects of these crashes at this point), but if this saves one person it's well worth it.

Happy trading and investing!

EDIT (July 20th 2021): The entirety of the cryptocurrency markets is going to goblin town again. Just a quick reminder to keep your time preference high. The day I posted this topic(March 13, 2020), bitcoin's price was around $5000. Hodling works, ladies and gentlemen.

This post was made roughly 8 months ago but is still very timely. Thank you for this encouraging post. It is surely a great reminder for those who are going through a rocky patch now that we are currently in the downtrend season of crypto.

Entering crypto is a great risk. You should know the basics and fundamentals first before diving into it to avoid regrets soon after. It is not for the faint-hearted and weak minds. Someone has to be mentally and emotionally capable to handle all the paranoia. stress, and anxiety whenever the time isn't in our favor. That is why I salute every one of you who still manages to smile and be optimistic in these times of crisis because clearly, it isn't that easy to accept sudden losses. Regret always lingers, and it would be really bothering, most especially if it involves a large amount.

However, you must not be carried away by these negative emotions. Don't let it overtake your life and destroy you. Instead, use these kinds of unfortunate events as a learning experience that would equip you with knowledge and wisdom in doing crypto. Just think of it as a charge for experiencing your lesson well so that in the future, you could avoid similar and unpleasant instances. It would be hard to accept, but you could do it, step by step. Because after all, what's "lost" is already lost. We just got to move on and do better next time. And the next time we are doing things, we would apply all that we learned in our past experiences.

Now that the prices in the market went rock-bottom, consider it as a great opportunity to buy coins with potential. Make sure to do your own research of course and to still only invest what you can afford to lose. If you are still feeling unwell, you can try to open up with your trusted homies, so that your burdens will be lessened. If you don't have any, I suggest what OP mentioned here which is to contact hotlines that could cater your needs. Best of luck to all of us. I sincerely hope we all make it to our goal.

this may be said to greatly affect beginners who start an investment in the crypto world, because they will soon occupy all this week have a bad business level, it is because they have put all their money in BTC to buy bitcoins at high prices on a few years ago.now bitcoin has experienced a fairly large price decline.now it really affects their mentality in investing because many people are more inclined to instant results.

I did heard some suicides that happened during the crash of 2018. Well, many of crypto experts know that the crash of 2018 is merely a correction. If these suicides were true then I do pity and wished these did not happen. I think it is our duty being responsible crypto enthusiasts to guide the newbies and those who are new at cryptocurrency to give them the proper guidance and proper information that will help them make the right decisions in trading and investment decisions.
When you decided to deal into this market then you should really prepare yourself into something like this on where you should really prepare into situations on which you do really need to be that serious and wont really be that stressful but i could say that it cant really be avoided because
this is how market works and how it moves which it would really be for you to be emotional but you should need to be that able to control
on everything because if not then you might really be ending up on suicide.

The drop in the price of bitcoin, eth, and other crypto coins fortunately has not had much of an impact on my mental health. Because from the start I always chose to play it safe in the crypto world because I realized that the stronger you hold, the more your heart will be bound by the sense of loss.
On the other hand, I applaud those who are able to survive in this difficult situation, only those with a steel mind who are able to think clearly and logically in this situation. This is just a storm that will pass soon, for those who are badly affected you need to be strong and don't give up hope.
