What To Do? (For People Who Mostly Gamble on NBA Games)

So what do you do nex?,  now that NBA has canceled some of the games this season? Will you just also  get a hold of being a gambler for the meantime? Or try another sports?

Even other sports or eSports tournament is being canceled due to COVID-19.

Entertainment betting will do but probably some shows will also stop temporarily. The only thing that matters now is to keep safe from the virus and stay healthy, let's prioritize ourselves and relatives. For now, let's hold gambling for a little moment and wait to get rid of the virus.

I was just thinking of the same just mere moments ago until I stumble upon this thread.

Even F1 and other motorsports events are cancelled, and that gets my mind thinking on what will gamblers do while their source of funds are out of the equation in the meantime? Perhaps some of them would try online casino, while some would just try and find obscure events that are still on-going and little money can be made. Either way, the sure thing as of now is that the world is paralyzed of normal events until such time that the virus is controlled and/or a vaccine is created, which unfortunately is projected a year and half from now.

Actually, the NBA is just one of my preferred sports leagues to bet so even for let's say the 30-day suspension extends, it will not affect my gambling activity in general.

But the thing is, it's not just NBA but almost all of my preferred sports events cancel their respective games. Nothing left now on my list so I have no choice but to refrain from doing online gambling, "for now".

Right now, my only active bet is outside crypto, the famous "ending game" and the current league they covered was National Basketball League in Oceania Region. Well, the "ending game" admins here are trying to make their business continue even with the situation the world is facing today.

Yeah, one of the common things in the Ph are sports betting and many of my friends are disappointed due to the cancellation of NBA season. But let's think on the good side, players should take care of their health too so we can watch them lively on the next season.

We can also try a local betting game like lotto, I think it's still active since there are results from yesterday's game.

For those who are addicted to gambling, especially in the NBA Games or other sports betting, I think this is the right time to take a break because in my opinion there will always be good that can be done behind this chaos. But it all comes back to ourselves because we all have choices and after all, with this outbreak at least it requires us to spend more time at home and at the same time we must continue to have income, so decide to stop and or switching to casino gambling is an option that we can do easily now, I personally will take time to rest because I also bet more often on sports gambling.

And besides only a few betting available on sports betting site right now that I really want. I've seen some games but I don't want to force myself into something that I don't have knowledge. It's not my way as a sports bettor for a long time. Instead of getting profits, it will just wreck my funds that will just add to my disappointment given by this pandemic event we are dealing with.

The virus outbreak have been affecting the markets, games and the normal life of citizens in major parts of the world. But there are false rumors and scares revolving in countries which are being less affected as well. The disease isn't curable as of now and has been identified to be deadly, but does this require too much of an attention in countries which are being less affected? The stocks faced a significant dump and so does the crypto which are being driven due to fake manipulation and scares which should be taken into consideration only at fewer places of the world!

I would personally move onto other games which are active to quite an extent and wouldn't be cancelled if the virus outbreak becomes worse than the current situation. Gambling is a form of entertainment and as far as I am concerned I only play with what I can afford to lose just for pleasure. Online gambling games like dice and roulettes could serve as an alternative in the place where gambling based on real-world games are kept on halt!

Yeah and I really hope it doesn't cause more trouble than it is now. I also do hope that it will not take more than many months before it disappears. This is somewhat crazy for we don't who might be a carrier, we might also be over reacting if we enforce couch and fevers.

I also heard that they might be extending the time of suspensions, but still no one knows, lets just hpe for the best. As for boxing, as long as we can, we should avoid too much people in contact, we might never know someone is a carrier, but doin online bet here wouldn't cause much hassle only for those who are present on the Live Community.

Well, they probably can try some other sports. This might be a good chance for them to try out something new. They may find a new sport to gamble on and might end up enjoy gambling on those sports. Or yeah, they can take a break from gambling for a while. But I doubt gamblers who gamble on NBA games only place bets on those games. High chances they also gamble on some other sports too. But due to this outbreak, I guess most of the sports will be postponed, so they might not have any sports to gamble on.

Might be worth taking a look at NBL (Australia's basketball league), at least until it's cancelled or the season finishes. It's currently the grand final which is a bo5 series between Sydney Kings and Perth Wildcats. I'd imagine a lot of your NBA analysis could transfer over. Might have to adjust your sleep schedule to watch though  

Cricket or eSports is probably your best bet after that. Lots of possible value in eSports.

It's not just NBA, almost all competitions stopped. There is currently very few basketball and football leagues which are still in play - Turkey, Australia, Russia, Ukraine, Serbia. So, I'm going to switch to watch these leagues and bet on it. But probably it's only matter of time when they will stop too. Maybe Australia is exception, because it's isolated continent and spread of virus is more difficult there.
But I definitely know that I won't start following esports - it's just not for me. I rather just will stop gambling and start to watch movies . There is just no more options to spend free time currently when almost everything stopped in my country for virus prevention.

But we still have other gambling games that we can play, and although that is not the favorite one, we can still playing gambling and perhaps, we can win in the other gambling games. The only thing we can bet on now is coin flip like the old times as not only NBA , most of the other sports including esports tournaments have been cancelled or postponed . As I was talking about in other thread , this is a great loss for not only us (emotionally) but also for the sports-betting sites( financially) .

Yes, actually this is a good time to have quality time with your family. Taking a break from time to time will refresh your outlook in life. It is time to reflect on your life and re-align your long-term goals in life. Nowadays, we are bombarded by the surrounding technology that we have. Sometimes we don't have long conversation anymore with our family or friends because we are so focused with our smartphones or other gadgets. So let's just make the best out of this current crisis.
