I'd rather not consider it in a dollar price exactly as it adds noise but overall BTC itself is doing ok vs the dollar which I think helps the case for ETH also.     If we look at the BTC ratio to ETH then its true there is some overhead trend that must be beaten to dismiss the negative threat.      Also there is something of a less established positive trend to pay attention to, just my brief look.



I think shorter term if it can stay above .02070 then it could remain in a positive phase and develop into something greater for wider time frames.

Most people was in deep problems nowadays, and it's undeniable that most financial establishment was declining. Fiat economy as well as the cryptocurrency sectors were being pulled over, due to recent pandemic against the world.

When you say ETH will dump below $80, this would only happen if bitcoin will also dump, that's the trend and it's still happening.
So far, bitcoin is quite stable at $6k+, and that is a good sign since despite of the crisis, it still hold at that price.

Currently the numbers are going to keep rising until maybe end of April or middle of May, the way they are rising at the moment makes it seem like this won't end this week or next week. Surprisingly, eth didn't go down to that level even if we have this pandemic situation. I can say that the foundation of eth is really solid as compared to other cryptocurrencies. No wonder, it is still behind bitcoin. No other alt can surpass its position right now. And with the upcoming Eth 2.0, I guess they will come up with another good use case for their network.

It is unlikely the stimulus packages given by the governments are being invested in bitcoin or in any other market since those that have money most likely will just save it just in case while those that do not have money will use it immediately to buy what they need and to pay their bills, however we are seeing that those packages are having a positive effect already in the stock markets as the institutional investors feel more relaxed now that those decisions have been taken and since many of those investors are already on bitcoin as well then it makes sense bitcoin is also going up in value.
