Guess why you are ending up with no money exactly when bitcoin drops? Because, crypto goes down when you run out of cash. Maybe not personally of course and some individual cases do not apply to this. However, normally the reason why bitcoin falls is the simple fact that people basically run out of money exactly when the economy collapses and people do not have money and they are in debt and in financial crisis.

It makes sense that as soon as economy goes bad, you start to lose money and when you lose money bitcoin falls. Hopefully it will recover quicker than all others because it requires less money obviously but still that doesn't stop it from dropping like crazy neither, bitcoin is a volatile thing and as much as we love it when it goes up, we have to tolerate these days as well.

Seems like the crypto crashed is now over, I hope so.

Looking at the market now, it has rebound and bitcoin again trading at $5300, it's a good price after it dump hard yesterday and traded $4600 IIRC.
Always be calm at this moment, ETH will never dump below $100 if Bitcoin can keep up that price its currently holding now.

We don't need to treat ETH as a specific case here, it's a part of what's happening on a much much wider scale. Yes the price drops are a concern, but remember this is saying nothing at all about how good or bad ETH is.

All the coins in this market have dropped very quickly and really this is a very risky time when you choose to invest. I think the ETH price will fall even further because the coin is heavily dependent on Bitcoin so the bear market will return once again this year. In my opinion, the only reason for this situation to get worse is corona and it is likely that the disease will last until the end of this year.

I also agree with your speculations, with the arrival of Corona, the economy is showing signs of serious decline, investors are constantly withdrawing money to prepare for contingency plans, so eth can go deeper, which is something we should calculate before it comes unexpectedly. downfall isnt temporary but it already run for a long time now , this is why people are panicking  but this isnt also forever because if we based on the past performance of eth , eth is only rise and fall like a typical cryptocurrency  .

we dont need to wait for the vaccine or for the cure of the virus because that is already outside of the crypto , i mean there is no real relation between them .  the price can recover on its own , youl see.

I just don't get it why ETH can go down that level when Bitcoin is still staying at 5k level?does Ethreum price is relying on what bitcoin will be?
i am not sure but for me 80$ is too low unless bitcoin falls 3k again like in 2018?

this isnt normal to me if i were to ask for but this only happens once in a lifetime   . never see eth or any other cryptos drop this far and im almost hopeless but what can i do? my job is paying me cryptos so i have no choice but to remain hopeful that one day this bad tragedy will stop and all cryptos will return to normal fluctuations   , a normal dump is okay and acceptible by anyone  . like you guys i dont also have a cash right now but if ever i have i think i will not gonna invest anymore but i will buy basic needs because that is more important to do right now .

We are not going through normal circumstances so it makes sense the volatility of this market is even higher than in the past, bitcoin is now above 6k and ETH is above 130 but how long this can last when the market sentiment is of extreme fear, there are some good news coming from China but for the rest of the world the battle against the coronavirus is just starting and may continue for months, most likely the price of BTC and ETH is going to continue to be really low despite the halving that is coming.

hope your statement is true. however, at this time the development of ethereum prices is really following the price of bitcoin. if there is no deeper decline from bitcoin, I think the price of ethereum will not decrease to $ 80. however, if the price decline occurs again, I think the potential is still there to be in that range.

It didn't, it got some help from bitcoin because if bitcoin was around 3.8k right now then ethereum would be under 80 as well, however it didn't, it is still doing fine and above 110 dollars right now. I suspect it will continue like this for a while. What people do not realize is the fact that prices depends on bitcoin more than anything else, if bitcoin becomes 10k tomorrow, ethereum price could be 200+ dollars as well, it doesn't have to change in btc-eth pair, as long as it stays still that means bitcoin price increasing equals ethereum dollar price going up as well.

So, what will happen to ethereum is all depends on what will happen to ethereum, we need to wait and see how this corona virus thing plays out and how financial world reacts to it before we can judge.

We can hope that it will not happens, but we need to be careful because this day, bitcoin price is not moving so good so that can make ethereum goes down although it is not down to $100. The ethereum price itself still staying at more than $100, but we see the ethereum price got the red candle now.
