2020 is a year of halving:

Half of production, half of price, half of assets, maybe half of users.   Grin

At such a low price, mining revenues from bitcoin or Ethernet have been severely reduced, and even the mines have to be shut down. But, Qitmeer may be a new choice for mining.

Qitmeer is a new BlockDAG network based on PoW consensus. Qitmeer introduces GHOSTDAG as fundamental protocol to achieve high throughput linearly rdering service with fast confirmation guaranteed by SPECTRE protocol. Cuckoo-Cycle-PoW is used to confirm transactions and produces new blocks, and acts as the driving force in Qitmeer Network. So, GPU devices are supported for mining in Qitmeer.

The qitmeer network is a cooperative model, and concurrent blocks will also be rewarded. In such a severe situation, using a miner with eight p-106 cards, I now earn about $2.49 a day in gross income. Since December 30, 2019, the qitmeer test network has been running stably for more than two months. I think mining on qitmeer may be another new choice besides Ethereum.
