Why there are so many people who get addicted on gambling?

Gambling is everything especially for those what we called compulsive gamblers or those addict on gambling, but it made me realize, why they get so addicted in gambling? if gambling can be the reason for them to lost their money, properties, relationship to family and friends, mental health and physical health. I know that there are gamblers who play because of fun and entertainment, but actually there are so many ways for us to make ourselves entertained without even losing our money.

But anyway, I can not judge and blame all those people because we are all different, we have different story in life.

What do you mean with future pump and dump in gambling? I think it nothing to do with gambling but it has a correlation in token/coin price on exchanges. Please give a more explain about this, I'm curious how you can state it on your comment. 

The major addiction of gambling is money because all are concentrate less work more profit.

The addiction isn't always caused by money. For me, some gamblers become addicted because they make gambling be their daily habit and play it excessively. So, when they don't play gambling, they feel something wrong (missing) in their daily activities.

This is not true, a lot of people may win on certain days but only a few survive the long term it's very hard to maintain your winnings and still continue. Your winnings could eventually back to the casino since the numbers are always on their side.

Because most people are unable to control themselves in gambling. IMO this is the main reason why many people are addicted to gambling. If people are able to have good self control, they wont be addicted to any addictive things (not only gambling).
Other reason could be "greediness". Feeling of never enough on everything they have, they earn or they get leads people into an addiction as well.

I agree on the control part even if we know that we have to stop or play conservatively sometimes you'll get carried away easily and do one of the worst things possible then realization will set in.

People fall into gambling addiction is because they want it to happen with them.
The prize attraction might brought them in to the point that it changes their mindset and focus more on playing for the sake that they want to win the jackpot prize and without realizing how much they lose or they are totally out from their minds.

It is normal to have the hope of making more money from gambling, but they need to see reality. If they cannot make more money, then they need to stop for a while and don't continue even if they still have a passion for playing gambling. If they still continue playing gambling, that can make them get lost, and that is for sure. People are not addicted to anything on a sudden, addictions are made to do the same thing over and over again.

Yes, over-staying like over-gambling must be the root cause for gambling addictions. Unfortunately no gambler is aware of where to draw their limits. They do gamble blindly regardless of their limited budget (by arranging loans) and limited time frame (they do cut off study/work). Simply, going for gambling unlimited is the reason why many people are getting addicted after short period of time itself.

Gambling limited and responsible must be the simple solution to stay in gambling without getting addiction. Taking short break for gambling must be other thing every gambler must work on. People get addicted to things they like doing. Some get addicted to playing computer games, others to gambling. You can't change that.
