The market has been taking a hit lately. However, some altcoins are shining across social channels. Will this equate to mitigated drops, and even outsized performance once the market flips?

I'm not trying to discredit any of the project highlighted in the OP but patronizers should be cautious when investing in any altcoins especially those that have recorded impressive gains like the projects in the OP, usually what follow is a massive correction which most of them don't recover from as the hype associated with them die off.

Some projects there are only profiting because they're associated with well known exchanges like binance as nothing is that special about their project. They're offering same utility most altcoins out their claim to be offering which personally I don't see any news for more of them especially as they all turn out to be shitcoins when the exchange platforms they're used on dies off.

I am sure these are very liked by the public and the numbers are really true and I am not disputing any of the facts or data here. However, can you really tell me that ethereum wasn't mentioned more than these? Or eos wasn't mentioned more than these? So these can't be the coins that are mentioned the most in the world, these can't be the leading ones in raking when it comes to social engagements neither, I am sure the top 5 ones will be higher.

So, this doesn't show that, so what does it show? It shows a select few according to what if not ranking? Is it the ones OP likes? Is it the ones with highest volume to mention rate? Is it the cap to engagement rate? What is the criteria to show these over the other ones? I think it is smarter to mention that as well.

All these are quality projects and good to see them making positive move even in this season of panic selling, it just goes on to show that these are quality project with active community and they know the worth of their project, i think when market recovers these coins will fly even more.

Yeah but I am suprise that WazirX becomes active and match on other projects. They are just new and launched this year but they can be on par already on some old projects such as zilliqa and kyber network. Chainlink is also improving as many projects are partnered with them. Social media really helps in promotions and these projects are working good on their end.

WazirX is backed by binance so the reason why its making noise in the crypto.  Everything that is touched by binance will eventually caught the attention of investors.  I have no idea to others why its trending up but Chainlink had been that way since it partnered with paypal.  Every coin will have its time to rise as long as it lives.

Where this sources you shared. Just it’s chart makes by 24 hours records? Wazrix is promising and i think mostly support these project, for it's a binance launchpad. So it’s easily getting top trend coin list. Keybar network so big platform currently. And i didn’t hold this tokens and also exchange. BAT and chainlink both real platform, you can take those projects.

These are good coins to invest for short and long term. They are some of the best coins which so many people have focus on. Even if there is a dip, they will recover fast and move upward. These are always repeated almost everytime.

Trending altcoins ? How can anyone believe this ? You think you can make profits in this period ? The only ones who make profits now are whales , rich people and those who owns big companies that don't depends on cash flow engagement and those people are so few.

I lost much of my WRX holding because I converted to BTC when it was falling and I wanted to be very safe and perhaps  buy more, but I was wrong in my calculation as the price of WRX flied from 780sat to about 26Ksat, well I had to FOMO to buy, I have been swing trading since. I will buy more when the price goes down in another downward market trend.

Well, that was good that despite of the downfall that we are currently experiencing right now which affects almost all the existing cryptocurrencies in the market including Bitcoin itself is there are Altcoins who are still making their way to rise up or increase their prices with the situation like this. This just means that they are really good projects because even if the world is currently into struggle because of the effect of the Coronavirus, still those Altcoins in the list you have provided is still popular among people which is good because people are still patronizing this Altcoins. Among the list you have provided, the only familiar Altcoin I know so far is the BAT (Basic Attention Token) in which as far as I know based on what I have read in this forum is a token that can be obtained by using Brave browser and watching advertisements through it.

It caused by these alts have a very big possibility to be recovered easily and it's also still having so many chance to grow a lot. Wazirx is free to be operated in india and i guess the users are also increasing significant.
Im also feeling doubt about how long these alts can be popular altcoin consider about when the hype is gone and so many altcoins become nothing.

I don't really think it will last for long. The only reason why they are relevant is because there's investors willing to invest in them as long as the hype is still going on. Once it died down, investors will likely to move on to other coins.

The profit was good though so I'd say it's a good coin. Good thing I got out of the moon ship before it fall down.

Wow! And I don't have any of those. 

Although, I find it great when I see some of the coins are still rising despite everything that is happening in the world.
There are still investors out there which are optimistic with crypto currencies.
I myself cannot even have the right amount to buy other coins.
I always stick with the two on the top. Also, the money now is being spent too much because of the panic that is happening. Spent with necessities and not in crypto.
So, a thumbs up for those companies which can still market it now.

Can't fight the feeling of shill after reading your comments guys. I will try not to cast a shadow on anyone so will read about wazirx from different sources to make my own decision on that.
