Cryptocurrencies are generally just unfamiliar to most people, and the volatility that's common with crypto that we've been experiencing as of recently is also unattractive to newer crypto users. If anything, already established services like PayPal are probably getting more traffic and volume as a result of this.

Hopefully this wish will come true even though governments in each country are very difficult to accept Bitcoin as a legal currency. I think this is because there are still many people and governments who are still unfamiliar with the blockchain system. Actually the spread of the virus through Fiat is an easy thing to happen. Because Fiat money is paper that is easily absorbed from various water. While using gloves is only done when making transactions, while when we are at home, of course no longer use gloves. There's no such thing as a country without people. The country does not panic, the people do and if enough of them happen to panic it becomes country-wide.

I cannot balame them for panicking. If you are 60 or 70 years old you'll have a hard time recovering. Probably 30% chance of dying so it's bad for the old and the sickly.

Fiat money is compose of many viruses, germs and bacteria but still in some country they don’t have any option but to use fiat money simply because bitcoin is still not legal and not all establishments accept bitcoin. This is not a meme for me but a reality, bitcoin can prevent you from being infected and on time like this bitcoin should be the best option to transfer money.

Of course that could be one solution if the goal is to reduce physical contact with all matters relating to direct transactions using fiat or ATM that have the potential to be used en masse and become a media for spreading viruses. FYI, in my country, it is illegal to buy with crypto or Bitcoin. Bitcoin and crypto are used only for digital assets, it cannot be a payment tool. Lol, I laughed. But unfortunately no. It isn't the best solution right now. Look at how volatile it has become during this critical time. Its jumping +/- 10% like in every two hours! No one would like to use this kind of extremely volatile currency. You have to admit bitcoin has a lot of drawbacks to be used as a regular currency for making day to day transactions.
If you don't want to be using fiat cash since you are scared of spreading/catching the virus, you can always use alternative method like digital payment such as Paypal.

That's one of the obstacles if bitcoin is used as a means of payment, it's very volatile so it's not effective enough. I would also prefer to use bitcoin as an investment rather than just to pay, as long as paypal and other e-money options are still effective. In addition, legal issues also need to be considered.
