actually in January the price reached more than 0.25$ and i though it will continue to grow before the Huge market fail happens in March mid.

But Ripple already Reached almost 4$ value 2 years ago so if ever there will be a growth at least we are not far expecting 1$ price
If Bitcoin Hits 20k again then maybe we will receive more than that value.

$1 is still a long shot for XRP but that value is more than possible to happen. Unlike, other price predictions that are way too high. If bitcoin will continue to grow, more than likely ripple will increase its price also. Because the movement of bitcoin is followed by many altcoins and ripple is no different. But don't expect to happen this $1 level anytime soon. This will be long journey for this centralized coin.

Ripple could rise higher anymore, there is no criticism about Ripple since it's a good project, however, it's still part of the cryptocurrency and we know how this market will move without bitcoin being bullish, therefore we desperately need a bull run for us to expect that Ripple will rise that high again.

You can hype what ever you want, but ripple will not be trusted by the real bitcoiners as it is not even a decentralized coin and the amount of coins in circulation makes me laugh about the way in which some people think about creating money out of thin air and they support these projects because it has crypto related and then abuse the government for printing money  .
I will bet that the price will not reach anywhere near $1 in the next 100 years and hype and pump and dump will not work all the time.

Yes, I agree because of this effect not only in crypto market but also for crypto world. I think the effect in global market will remain until this year. Financial institution and other establishment might be colapse. I'm holding a few xrp in my portfolio right now. It's not possible for XRP to reach $1 but I think it will be hard to do it. Btc will also hype again if that's happen. It's violatility makes it rather to predict what would be the price of it in few-hours and even harder to give long-term prediction.

From the performance that it showed for the past months, I guess what you are asking will happen. Bitcoin has made well, Ethereum did well, other altcoins did well while for XRP, it didn't do anything.

Instead, the price gets lower and lower.

I'm thinking the same thing now as XRP is the only one that hasn't really done well this year so far compared to all the other top 100 cryptocurrencies and it may even start to drop down the list as other big movers like LINK are making their way up the list. I hold some XRP as a speculative position as we just never know what might happen once crypto takes off.
