It broke the key hurdle of $130 level and gave a solid start and the bulls have gained some momentum in the market because ETH is closely tracking Bitcoins price action at the moment. I guess it depends upon the pump of BTC if it pumps I am sure alts will follow the same.

Ethereum is having resistance at its market price of 130$ comparing it to bitcoin it already has a lot of potentials and it already has its volatility.

It would not be surprising if the Ethereum market is going to pump up to 1000$. The dumping of the market price is still useful and a good opportunity to invest in the cryptocurrency especially to the popular altcoins in the market the really has potential, with Ethereum I think even in long term investment this is one of the best altcoins investment since at any moment it could pass all-time high price in the market.

The price of all the altcoins out there is somehow dependent on the price movement of the bitcoin. The the price of the bitcoin rises up, you can notice that the altcoin price will slowly gonna move upwards. That is the dependency of the price in the bitcoin. All we can do is to abuse the current market situation and try to grab this opportunity to be able to hold some of ethereum and sell it in the future.

It's always same required if BTC price going up then every altcoins pump again if BTC price goes to down then altcoins price failed everyday. So I don't tell some altcoins i think crypto markets depends one the Bitcoin.

In terms of price fluctuations,i think the cryptocurrency market had a difficult year in 2018. Ethereum, which has reclaimed its #2 position in terms of market capitalization. Of course we all know that bitcoin is still the #1 crypto. Year 2018 the ethereum price drop from 1000$ to 140$ but i feel that ETH price will recover as soon as possible to its previous dominant values after the network issues will be solved. Who knows? Maybe this year it will start to pump just like bitcoin or maybe overcome it.

Yes, Eth and most of the currencies out there are very dependent to bitcoin price because once the bitcoin will goes down the eth price also goes down. So we can expect that the Eth price will boom once the bitcoin price will start to skyrocket again.

But this kind of scenario will likely to change once the big investors will start to divide their investment because if you are going to check the investment pattern of big whales we can say that they still favor the bitcoin as the bitcoin dominance is still sitting at 64%. This is pretty high, if it will just goes down like 40% then other currencies like Eth has a chance to goes upward without relying to bitcoin price movement.

Let me just remind you, mate, that there were so many times when everything seems to be all set for a boom that we suddenly surprised with a fall. That was the thing that happened just several days ago. The forecast of ETH was $300. And I was one of those who really believed it. But then all of a sudden, the forecast was proven to be so silly. And the value of ETH was swirling down.

yes, eth is set to boom now, just like btc, but asides from eth, i think the whole market will spring up same way with btc as it pumps. btc seems to lead the market both in bull and bear season. as it goes down, all other alts go down with it, when it pumps also, all other alts pumps with it. the market is nott predictable, we just following the trend and hope for more profitable season in the crypto market.

I agree with this, if all is not going to happen that fast and maybe the price will fall $ 100/ETH if bitcoin has fallen in price like some time ago. so don't expect ETH to boom in the near future

It seems like there will be kind of bull run this week as ETH and BTC with others have been making positive move. I really do expect more growth this week and do anticipate it comes to pass as market has faced huge drop down. It all depends on the price of Bitcoin. I still remember 2017 when Bitcoin rallied to $19k ETH rallied to $1k. I do not expect Bitcoin to do the same this year but it will pump just before halving and the same will happen to ETH.

Historically it is always the year after halving when Bitcoin has created a new all time high. I expect the same to happen next year.

before that happen ETH increase its price without the help of btc at early 2017, then make thier own demand by having this ethereum platform and make many succesfull ICO that year.

But this year is different there are many negative though now that eth have from investors.
It will increase its price but i dont see it follow bitcoin trend that time unless they make something new eth that can help to increase its price alone.
