I don't see any chance for ETH to explode in the near future, ETH has stabilized in the last few days because Bitcoin is showing signs of going up. But I'm pretty sure bitcoin will continue to crash in the near future as the halving is approaching. And I am ready to buy ETH at $ 80 again

Guys, I am telling this to you after going through some hard day's ETH sees massive upswing now. It broke the key hurdle of $130 level and gave a solid start and the bulls have gained some momentum in the market because ETH is closely tracking Bitcoins price action at the moment. I guess it depends upon the pump of BTC if it pumps I am sure alts will follow the same.

Hopefully, this is the case. I have been holding my ethereum for quite some time and it would be nice to get rewarded for my patience. Hope this time it would be really a bull run and not like the previous pump that for a short time its price dumped really big. BTC's price is gaining and I hope eth goes along with it.

Well, it was a good news to hear because after quite some time, Ethereum's price is now into a recovery in which its price is already experiencing an increase because if you will observe from the past price charts of Ethereum, the price is continuously going down making the price to stand below $200 marker that is to far away from its peak price which is $1000 way back 2017 during the bullrun wherein both Bitcoin and Ethereum have undergone into a massive increase in terms of price. Well, this maybe brought by the price increase being experience by Bitcoin as of the moment after a couple of days downfall which is said to relate with the current situation of health in the world. It is good to know that Ethereum's price is breaking through all of this circumstances following the lead of Bitcoin that is a good sign that despite of this odds, still the prices of the cryptocurrencies are resisting and pushing themselves up for an increase. What I can say is that we can expect more from Ethereum in terms of improvement in price that can be said is getting ready for a boom soon.

It's not far to happen, if bitcoin crashed that much you'll be able to see ETH to follow, since there's a global crisis and investors are holding their
fund and carefully assessing their positions. It's hard to assume that halving might bring good news if this pandemic virus will continue to spread
and affects more and more people around the world.
Best to hope that solutions will be there and the spread will be control to bring hope to global economy.

Yes, it mostly depends on the BTC price. Just look at the past chart and you will have your answer. If BTC again dump and get down below 3k then ETH will go under 100$ I think. Crypto market was depended on BTC before its value still dependent on BTC now. Some reason attach behind all pump all. Good announcement for whole cryptocurrency or supply decrease by smart amount which means halving. Ethereum will boom because of Ethereum 2.0 before it Bitcoin will has halving time. My point is both will be going to run, rest of the coin will follow.

With the previous price, the main event is BTC and the ETH proceedings are still slowly grinding lower depending on the demand price of BTC, so there's a possibility that ETH is needed more quality time waiting for the time of the pump,  however, even if it gets stronger and higher,  I think they can't beat the superior which is bitcoin.

although 2.0 is still pending, and we see prices don't seem to be developing much, ethereum still has the second largest market cap after bitcoin. I don't think so that market will boom in this moment. Full world now unstable with economy and if everything goes okey, it will need minimum 6 month to come back. So market may go for ups and down in this moment but will not boom.

The news is now disappearing somewhere I am also not sure this year there will be a release on ethereum 2.0 because there is no provision from Vitalik as CEO, but ETH is able to rise after there is a bullish and that's how the current movement of bitcoin because it's affected by IMO.
but in view of the ETH movement quite well following the current market trends so that what happens with the market must be moving ETH.

There are lots of altcoins that looks quite promising right now and not just Ethereum. ETH price has been able to recover and from its fall down to $90, the price has been able to reach up to $136. Apart from ETH other coins that has been doing quite well are Tezos, the market has seen up to 21% increase in a week. It's always been the scenario that when btc pumps, ethereum will follow too. The market is already making a slight increase today so hopefully this will continue to surge even after this pandemic virus is over. Ethereum may dump again but it will still recover once we see btc is pumping.
