Great stuff. I'm always on the lookout for new places I can spend bitcoin - I'll take a deeper delve in to some of the companies listed when I get a chance.

Your map could use some tweaking, though. Why do you show internet based companies and services as markers on your map? I zoomed in on a few cities around the world and saw lots of pins for VPN services, online casinos and lotteries, travel bookings, crypto exchanges, and so forth. None of these have a physical store you can spend bitcoin at in person, and all it serves to do is clutter up the map and make it harder to find actual brick and mortar stores. I think it would be better to remove them from the map and just have them listed under their various categories instead.

I welcome every initiative like this, because I read so many times from users of this forum that crypto is not usable as a currency, because there is nowhere to spend it. The truth is a little different though, although these are mostly online stores scattered around the world, and buying some physical products has an additional cost because of the sometimes not so low cost of customs fees.

The page seems to be doing pretty well considering it has nice number of reviews for many listed sites, and that this is first time for me to hear about it. However, I must note that this is not currently the largest directory of sites (1036), because there are some who have more pages listed, but I believe it is only a matter of time before this data can change.

I like your idea, and the website seems responsive.

$120/month for advertising is a bit steep.  You may want to reduce that by 99% or so until you get some traffic.

How many editors do you have?  Will you spend any time vetting any listing?

I discovered your platform a couple of months ago through the coinpayments website and i was impressed with it especially the filters for the different coins used for payment and type of platform/merchant.

I have a suggestion, could you also include the coinpayments filter so that the website can display merchants, websites or stores which use the coinpayments portal for making payments.
If it's already there please let me know. Thanks.

Hi,

actually it's realized!

you can take any category from "Shops, markets" or "Internet services" - and there you will find a filter - Payment gateway - and choose Coinpayments

for example

https://cryptwerk.com/companies/hosting/?f[27]=99 - Hosting companies accepting cryptocurrencies  through Coinpayments

Hi,

actually all companies have their own categories

and you can filter all content by categories in directory and in map

we put all addresses because some companies have offices in this area, and that also shows bitcoin adoption movement

but if you need to see only stores -  you can choose only "Shops, markets" category

for example https://cryptwerk.com/coinmap/2/25.00000000/0.00000000/?categories=9

1. yes, at the moment mostly internet stores and services are listed on Cryptwerk.com

but i think it's a time question

2. We have more then 4000+ merchants of Cryptwerk. And our database is actual and clean!

we have a lot of fake registrations that we filter every day. if you compare us with Coinmap - it's full of scam and fake companies. Our data base is actual and fresh because of manual checking of each merchant!

What's the reason your website is using trackers?

I checked your website a little more and here's some feedback:

1. Disable the trackers. It's a little unBitcoinlike to track your users and provide their browsing behaviour to third parties.
2. Online and offline stores are mixed, even when looking at online categories.
3. I've ran into plenty of links that do not accept crypto (anymore) or shut down completely.
4. The store pages are really crowded. I'd personally keep them as clean as possible.

thanks for your time!!

1. ok

2. may stores are online and offline and the same time

3. can you share some links? the thing is that situation is changing every day. we could miss something

4. what you mean crowded?

any way thank you for your feedback!

You really have a good list per crypto going on here, everything is organized and I can easily locate each category. However one thing that concerns me is, with a large data of websites you have how do you keep these list of websites updated in your website? Do you always check them daily if they are online? And do you do background checks if the websites you have listed have zero records of scams? Because to be honest it is the first time I'm hearing in most of the websites I have seen in your lists for Bitcoin. I really hope you have some kind of monitoring going on for these websites as it will really help make your service much better.

to be honest our idea that the community should take care of updating the data

every crypto user can make a review for a company, positive or negative. and we are monitoring all reviews and make the decision what to do.

in future we want to implement a special interface for content manager, where every day our system will choose 15-30 random companies to check.

but mostly we rely on our users!

You will need to add another option to your site then. Leaving negative reviews is fine for rating a company's trustworthiness and reliability, but it is not an appropriate way to flag up companies which are temporarily offline, have stopped accepting bitcoin, have closed down, etc.

You'll need an option to "report" these sites to yourself or a site administrator so they can be removed altogether, rather than just left a bunch of negative reviews.

this option is already implemented!

I had noticed that link, but assumed it was for pointing out errors such as the wrong address, wrong URL, or wrong description, as per the options in the drop down menu which appears when you click on it. Perhaps additional options such as "Does not accept bitcoin/crypto" and "No longer operating/no longer exists", would make things clearer. Or perhaps I'm just being a bit dense.

I've also notice quite a few sites which have no feedback left, but still have a numerical rating. How are these calculated?

This is a good idea but certainly not the greatest. Would you really want that in your service? Like let your user found out if the link/website is working or is trustworthy? It's like you are making them a test subject when it comes to trying out websites in your list. IMO I think you should try out the websites yourselves first before making them available to everyone since there is no guarantee that all websites are working or even safe to use. I personally don't like the idea that I'll be the first one as a customer to try out this websites especially if it lacks trust worthiness and reputability.

6. Links

Cryptwerk has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Cryptwerk of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user’s own risk.
Just to be clear, the highlighted parts mean that you automatically list merchants that were registered by users then you do the manual checks after?
- If "YES", then there's a window of opportunity for scammers to take advantage of this situation.

as about editors - we have 1 content manager who makes manual checking of all new merchants on Cryptwerk.
How about in regards to the regular checking of merchants?
- Weekly/monthly basis?

Overall, I really liked your website and my only suggestion [for now] is adding a night mode.

to be honest - it's a standard "terms and conditions" text, in reality we are checking ALL NEW MERCHANTS manually
