Done voting. Not necessarily end, but this will significantly subside within the second quarter of this year. I've already read a few great developments in terms of coming up with an effective drug against it. Although still at the testing stage, for sure it will not take another quarter for these promising drugs to finally hit the market. The virus will continue to exist, of course, and will probably continue to mutate but it will certainly be less pathogenic in the coming months, God willing.

Hubei has been open again and their lockdown has been lifted which means that they can now give advice and aide help to the other affected countries. But, I have seen this one article that an official is mad at them for not sharing what others must do. I can no longer find that piece.

It will probably take a year probably  Q4 2020. There are countries that were just recently affected like the Myanmar. Come of them will lockdown for nearly 6 months to a year, this is really going to take a different direction for the economy of every country but crypto might just save if this is really going to prove being resilient.

Placed my vote on Q3 2020. The number of cases is still increasing but with countries helping one another and doing what they can to prevent the virus from spreading, I think a few or several months is enough to get the situation under control in most countries with thousands of cases. Also the growth in the daily cases is slowly getting reduced compared to last week if it continues in the next few weeks it might end on Q2.

I want this to end up as soon as possible, I miss my daughter.

Just voting for the Q3 of 2020, I believe it'll take sometime before everything gets back to normal although I'm not praying for the viruse to stay this long because it most have killed many and destroyed many businesses by then but looking at the way things are going it seems not much is been done to combat this disease as quick as possible. Maybe there are few elite who're profiting from this epidemic.

Read online few days ago of a US senator that sold all her stock prior to the stock market crash few weeks back and her decision came after they were brief of the issue arising (Corona viruse outbreak). Also saw report of China buying up all the shares and stock in the market.

I voted for Q1 2021 but now when I think about it I might have been optimistic and should have voted for Q3 2021.

If we are waiting for vaccine to stop the this mess, it will take quite some time get it made and thoroughly tested, therefore at least year and a half. Or we adapt to this, and simply accept it as reality, with ocassinal stricter measures but that will also take some of time.

With that being said, I'm surprised so many think this will be over soon (Q2 and Q3 2020)but it's a good  thing to have positive attitude towards this.

We're all just trying to be optimistic that's why majority are going for 2020 as if the virus doe get put under control by the end of the year, the story will definitely be different by then. Things will go out of control, "worst case scenario" humanity as you know might seize to exist or some countries population might decrease drastically and many lifes will be lost.

Trump statement is just a political statement (he's getting good at those lately). Countries in africa aren't giving out current data of the effect of the virus. If countries with well equipped structure couldn't stop the spread of the virus how much more countries that don't have the capability to combat the spread of the virus.

I have voted for Q2 2020. Because I believe current situation would controlled when summer will start although it's not proven but it's just beliefs. On the other hand, most of effected countries locked down their activities. So when peoples will avoid touch each others then most likely COVID-19 wouldn't spread more and will be controlled. But who says that we will have to be in quarantine/self-isolation when second wave hits? For me personally "this madness" is not being able to go out and socialize with others. The disease itself is not madness for me. It's just another type of flu that scientists will, sooner or later, find a vaccine.

I voted Q4 of 2020 but my main reason that I voted that time frame is that, yes the WHO is saying that the virus is "controllable" but still no vaccine at this moment and the first Quarter of 2020 is almost at its end already.

There are some articles saying that a vaccine will be made in 12-18 months time and although I don't believe in this statement, there is a slight chance that this will happen. Researchers and scientists around the world are claiming that they've created a vaccine into it and some countries are using a made vaccine already but for other viruses. These are at its testing process right now but if one of this will be successful then at around Q2 to start of Q3 the virus will be totally controlled and the number of cases will start to go down.

I have voted Q3 2020. I doubt that it will end in the next three months because the number of cases is still growing day by day. I'm just basing on my country and it's increasing do fast. What more for other countries that have more cases like Italy. Perhaps during this period, doctors can properly handle the situation for every patient and that cases will decrease but we cannot say that it will totally end. I just hope that they can make antidote sooner. Also, I think that in this period, doctors already have an antidote or medicine for this virus but the second quarter is not enough to provide enough medicine for every infected patient and to distribute it around every country that is affected by the virus. So I guess by the third quarter the year, everything is already stabilized and we can finally go back to our normal lives without worrying about getting infected by the said virus, unless another virus will emerge out of nowhere. But I hope that sooner, everything will be back to normal.

Usually vaccines do take a year to be fully developed. I don't think either that it would consume such time span considering the current environment, materials, discoveries, and ideas that we have right now compare to what we have before. Of course people are getting better. It's not an uncureable (I hope that's a word ) disease. It's a disease somewhat more dangerous than an ordinary flu. The problem is that it is spreading much quicker and easier than flu.

I'm afraid the prediction is becoming more like a wish than rational judgment. It's also become scarier because some wise man said: "the majority is always wrong." That said, if the virus cannot be eradicated this year, I'm afraid that many people will lose hope.

I voted Q4 2020 because as soon as possible, everyone want this virus to stop immediately because people can't go to work to earn money for their family. Being optimistic will help us to lessen our worries and stress and we know that our fronliners, scientist, doctors, will do their best to fight this crisis. Hoping for the doctors also to take care of their health so that they will not be infected even though they're the one who are more vulnerable to it. But if you think critically and if you will base your prediction in reality, I think that it will reach year 2020.

It is never easy to find a cure or vaccine for a certain virus or diseases because it requires a lot of time, effort, and budget to do some experiments and researches about that. It will soon be discovered but right now, we just need to follow what government told us so that we can slow down the transmission of the virus from time to time. Also we need to take care of our friends, family and ourselves so that we are safe. We just need patience and discipline during times like this because the transmission starts with us, citizens.

Probably, it will take 1 or 2 years to find the vaccine to it and I know that it takes too long to discover but what can we do? We really need to accept that fact that we are all shocked because of the sudden spread of the virus Covid-19. We also can't deny that most of the countries are not prepared to experience this kind of crisis. Most especially those frontliners who risk their lives just to help people recover from the virus. But still, the percentage of transmission is still higher than the people recovering from it. I know we need to become optimistic but we also need to face the reality, we shouldn't be blind of what is really happening in our community.

However, South Korea is a different case: they imposed no lockdowns whatsoever but strictly advised their citizens to stay at home and be calm. They also managed to produce qPCR testing kits in an extremely fast rate and was capable of testing 20,000 citizens in a day, so if the person shows early signs of symptoms, they are easily tested, advised to stay at home, and monitored via a mobile app. They managed to flatten the curve in a short span of time without resorting to quarantines whatsoever.

So what am I trying to point out here? Every country has their own measures in preventing the spread of the disease. Wuhan managed to be COVID-free in 3 months, while South Korea managed to reduce those new cases in just a month and half. It depends entirely on how would a nation's government reacts to the pandemic. Vaccines work, but they would require extensive testing and hearings before clinical trials on humans can proceed, and with Trump (lol) suggesting a highly unstable remedy against said disease, it would take a longer time before the world goes to rest again with the said virus. There would be isolated cases here and there until the vaccines arrive in Q1 or Q2 2020, so until then the best thing nations can do is to prevent its spread and wait for the affected ones convalesce before they lift the quarantines.

Voted for Q4 2020. Actually, it's still quite difficult to predict because I assume it's still in the beginning stages of its spread throughout the world. However, I can say that it won't end very soon. There are some things to be known the progress, so we can guess the end of these things. (1.) The first one is about the vaccine, we need an effective vaccine and it must be owned by all the affected countries to end this Covid-19 spread. (2.) The second one is about humans immunity, it needs time to improve. Then, it can prevent itself from the virus attack and stop the transmission. (3.) I choose between Q2 and Q3 of 2020 - I want to optimistic. But I think it's not worth to expect that virus will be gone then, I just hope that situation will be stabilized and lockdown won't be needed. About on the prediction i would choose Q4 of this year of Q1 of 2021 yet everything would be normalized in either of these factors - 1. Vaccine is available

In China, the virus has been contain because they are locking down their community while the epicenter have shifted to Europe and the US as those countries are having a very hard time implementing a total lock down to prevent the spread of the virus. I think that these virus cases will decrease completely towards the entrance of summer because summer months are very important periods for many countries. I do not know if I am very optimistic, but I think that this virus event will not take too long and will only have very harsh effects in the short term. Actually, I don't feel bored or bad at working at home. I have been doing bounty for a long time and my whole time is at home. sometimes jobs like these help the society and the economy quite a lot. I have never been proud to work from home like now. This is how I help society reduce the risk of virus infection and still make money and pay for service costs. There is no pressure or frustration when working from home, it is important for us to be accountable. the epidemic will be over and we just need to try a little more. The lockdown is working. Here's how. People who normally go to the doctor and the hospital, are respecting the lockdown. They are staying at home. The benefits are:
1. Many who would die of cancer or heart disease at the hospital, are not dying;
2. The hospitals are laying off people who would normally be causing the deaths of many people who would go to the hospitals;
3. Families are getting back together;
4. New age of baby-boomers so we get more kids to support the Social Security System in the future ;
5. People who needed 3 jobs to make ends meet are getting the much-needed rest.
Actually, there are a whole bunch of other things along these lines that are improving because of the lockdowns.

The good part about all this is that people can only take so much. So, they are heading out to the beaches where they are spreading their natural, CV immunological bodies with all kinds of other people, while getting much-needed, refreshing, natural sunlight and air to keep themselves healthy.

Done voting. Not necessarily end, but this will significantly subside within the second quarter of this year. I've already read a few great developments in terms of coming up with an effective drug against it. Although still at the testing stage, for sure it will not take another quarter for these promising drugs to finally hit the market. The virus will continue to exist, of course, and will probably continue to mutate but it will certainly be less pathogenic in the coming months, God willing.

It's September now. Unfortunately, in lots of countries, it hasn't subsided. I'm betting eradication would be in 2022.
