Hunters are really passing through hard times. i think it time this has to stop. admins should henceforth dismissed all bounties here.  it is discouraging.
those that offered to pay ends up dumping their token on the exchange.
those that were successful during IEO/ICO campaign refuses to pay(digibits/NOIZ). Cooking up stories up and down. these are bounties that ended two years ago. Payment still pending.
the rest disappeared the moment sales failed or mid way to the campaign.

They should just end it. this forum should just end it.

Why would they interfere with anything? Bounties are only a small part of the forum and it's pretty much a different community. People still discuss crypto and help others daily in several boards, which is the real purpose of the forum. Meanwhile, the Altcoin Board is filled with spam and bounty hunters, but they are doing that because they want to. You are free to quit and stop doing bounties for not being profitable anymore or worth the time.

Also, bounties are not officially verified, supported or managed by the staff. BitcoinTalk =/= BountyTalk.

Bounties isn't worth your time for a long time already. Probably since 2018 or 2017. Don't even talk about airdrops. Most of bounties are just pure scams - you either won't get paid completely in the end or just will get some worthless tokens. And even if it's not scam, I doubt that you can get decent earnings. There is many ways how to spend your precious time more effective.
I wouldn't be strictly against removing bounties from Bitcointalk completely. But I'm not sure that such radical decision is needed and I doubt that it can be removed anytime soon. Now it's not big problem. Previously in the prime of bounties when it caused lot of spam here, I would had full supported removing it.

Forum admins are not going to babysit you on what choice you make here. If bounties are not worth it, then don't waste your time joining them, simple as that.

It is true that a lot of scammers have appeared on the ICO market, but it is not always the developers fault that the price of the token has fallen.
Such a long period of bear market, unfortunately, but destroyed a lot, even very good projects.
If anyone wants to participate in bounty cmapaigns now, then the only solution to reduce the risk is to carefully analyze the project and the people behind it. Only if we choose the best project with the best dev team, we have a chance that our support will pay off.

I don't understand why bounty campaigns should end? If there are people who want to support some project, they should have such an opportunity.

Most bounty hunters will probably think the same as what you say, joining a bounty will only waste time and you will only get paid that is not worth it and you wont even get anything if they fail. That is the reality now, although there are a number of bounty that seem legit but their numbers are very limited.

A simple suggestion is dont waste your time joining lots of bounty, because the more bounty you promote at the same time, the more regret you will get when the reality is not as expected. Stop if you dont get something worth fighting for, look for other options and start your business stronger.

Bounties usually have very easy terms of conditions for participants or bounty hunters so they barely lose anything. And if there is hard time for them, I hope it will last longer because it means there are less scam projects in crypto. It's good, generally.

Bounties, and even signature campaigns (through signature space) on the forum, are our privileges not our rights. We have them from generosity and welcome message from the admin who want to give good users have opportunitites to contribute, then work and at the end have some sort of income. Remember work first, earn at the end.

The forum does not manage campaigns or bounties so they are not discouraged here. But scam projects will be discouraged. They will be unofficially announced from tags, flags, feedbacks.

Bounties or campaigns, following the ones are managed by professional managers will help you mostly get paid.

You are free to join or ignoring any bounty. It is up to bounty hunter. If they do a minimum analysis, they can find the worth of a bounty.

Quite true although there's no guarantee unless the bounty allocation are been escrow in the hands of the bounty manager. That's to say the BM will be in charge of distribution of the token to the bounty of participants that's the only time you can be assured of recieving your payout. Still another issue is getting something worth the time you sent promoting the campaign once you get paid.

It's not always about getting paid but are the token going to make it in the market to give you some some cash when you decide to cashout or just going to be another worthless token in the market. Been a hunter in this period ois very unprofitable.

This is an impossible task since in the first place, the forum doesn't moderate bounty campaigns, the simplest solution is to avoid promoting any bounty campaign until probably the market becomes favorable to them once more. Lets just assume what you asked for was possible, you don't expect it to come into effect since we have quite some decent bounty that have delivered in the past and future bounties that'll still be profitable for the users that'll be opportune to participate.

Admins here to facilitate the forum and make it a clean and neat discussion place. Im not sure if ever theymos think or any admins to remove the altcoin bounty section or at least prohibit it. There is no problem supposedly since altcoins are next to bitcoin. Were bit lucky to let those altcoins be posted but for the sake of those complainers its your duty to ignore those scam one. There's always another road to take but if you always going on that road ended up being unpaid, better stop doing it. Bounties are good for other people here, the problem here are the users encountered misfit campaign and managers.

There's also bounty0x which claimed to be the pioneer in bounty hunting back in the days but after checking the site recently, it's pretty much inactive/ dead.

How i wish there are other reliable way to make money here apart from bounties and airdrops. the signature campaign appears far fetched for some people here espcially newbies that can;t earn merits. it is time we focus on other things like trading,staking or mining which can pay us at the end of such campaign. this we are sure of payment even if they pay little.

Think twice before you register for a bounty, there were and still so many fake projects, scam projects doing bounties just to scam people and take their money, time and effort for their own benefit. If something gets confused in a bounty you are trying to participate, better stay away from them.

A bounty needs to be clear, direct in the way they are willing to pay, if you have to ask them questions, in the beginning, don't waste your time, that is a sign of how unprofessional they are.

The forum community suggested to require bounties and companies pay only through bitcoin. The reasons from the suggestion is they believe there will be less scammers if they have to pre-pay some kind of cost to run their campaigns or bounties on the forum. It makes sense, IMO.

I don't feel annoying with such boards because I don't visit them. If you have a consistent perspective on bounties, you will ignore those boards, and won't join any bounty, then there is no problem from those boards on your experience with the forum.

The forum is not built and run solely for campaigns or bounties, instead for bitcoin discussions originally. Over time, we have discussion expansions to altcoins. That's fine enough.

As like Forex trading, gambling, HYIP etc no one gives people any investment or participation advice. It is your decision whether you will join or not. Hardly 1 or 2 bounty paid to hunters.
For a newbie what are the alternatives? You start from scratch. Just learn and don't bother about payment. Knowledge is power. There must be other ways to earn online.

Yeah if they wanted to reset the cleanliness theymos should do this, and thats a 100% fine for me. We will see then, who really are here for campaign and those that are into bitcoin discussion, also altcoin too. But I'm not sure for others if they will accept the banning of signature campaign.

There are about two hundreds of subboards on the forum and Bounties (Altcoins) is just one of them, and accounts for a very minor part of the forum. It is not right to say how many proportions those active users in Bounties (Altcoins) account for, as well as how many percent of daily posts released in that subboards account for total daily posts of the forum. I don't have data to say about that. There is another contributor, to consider, how many of active users in that subboard belong to unique people (after excluding bounty farmers).

That part is likely a very special location on the forum, the place for spam and for bounty hunting. I visited it in my early months but honestly, around the last half of year, I have not visited it (I neither have interests in that subboard nor have curiosity on what is going on in it).

When times are tough, everything must be closed or is it an excellent start to everything? This is one of the good times to buy and invest and the best investment is to increase your knowledge of cryptocurrencies and the economy.
I do not think that the forum will change if all campaigns are stopped, and perhaps it will be a real beginning for targeted posts, especially as these campaigns cause increased fraud and waste of wealth.

It is we can list these kind of bounties and we can create a very long list, I am using three coins in bounty hunting and all of it are full of shit and useless coins and tokens,I check them from time to time to check who among it got values and once I see that it was value even at  a small amount I dump it, bounty campaign now are useless and waste of time.
