Someone has just contacted me that needed a signature design, he reached me on Telegram, but unfortunately for him before that he ended up contacting an impersonator, and he got scammed.

Scammer address: 1FVKSArnTDCbncR9rHxERg3KFWrMudoJi1
TX ID: https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/5de600c1b1d51fb809e311e0bc8f23e260bc11b03c40edc9b3df740376c70c19
scammer telegram user: @O_SeIIer_O

He is using a telegram channel to refer them to his account making the person think that he is contacting me, as you can see if you hover over the link:

and I found another one:

Telegram username: @Zwei_002bot

ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS
IS AS IMPORTANT AS ANSWERING THEM.

I think you should put this on your service thread so that your potential clients can watchout for further impersonation, using a specific btc address (that will be written your service thread with a note that any person requesting payment to another address is an imperstaor) to receive payment could also help.

PS: I don't know how telegram handles report about channels used for impersonating or scamming, but It could be worth a try to report the channel. I already, if you could get a couple of people reading this to do the same, it might help.

There are so many impersonators in the telegram channel, this could ruin your business if they are landing on the wrong telegram user, it's better to highlight your telegram username to avoid such thing from happening or better ask your client to message you first here on Bitcointalk before dealing on telegram and send your conversation code, you have many competitors here, you don't want your name ruin.

You should make an announcement for companies to contact you via pm on this forum to verify they are in fact speaking to the real you before making any deals.

There are lot of impersonators in telegram whether it be regular exchangers or good and service providers. I have made a thread alerting about it and how to stay safe here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5232491.0

Make sure to add link to your thread.

This is the reason why telegram is so flawed, impersonators get away with scams unpunished. I'm sure the scammers is going to change the characters of the username after seeing this post.
Best thing is to post this on your service thread and I hope telegram comes up with a solution to fight scammers very soon
