I had put this project on the back burner for sometime due to other commitments & have actually had the physical gold coins created for sometime so I have decided to revisit this project to see if anyone would be interested in buying these gold coins.

See Development Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=203757

Carat: 9ct
Weight: 9.0 grams
Depth: 1.6mm
Diameter: 25mm

Assay Certified.
Laser Hallmarked.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures, I will be uploading more shortly as these have my grubby finger marks on them!

*ugh*

3.375 grams of fine gold content for 380$ ?!

Considering 1330$/oz (31.1 grams) spot price, that minted coin translates into roughly 3500$/oz o.0
Quite a premium for a very basic looking coin, even finest casascius coins (that also contain 1 BTC) effectively come cheaper than this - and are easier to trade due to high-grade gold purity.
375 fine (9ct) is more like an industrial alloy with some gold content, most people wouldn't even call these gold coins for that reason.

May want to reconsider that price IMHO

I like the idea, but the premiums over the gold price are just crazy.

I agree.

I'd buy 5-10 of these if it was like 5-10% over spot.

Initially, I could move down to about £200 / $330.
I could move down further in bulk.

Obviously the price is above spot due to the cost involved in minting / assay.

However the more i sell the cheaper they can be produced.

Yep, getting coins struck in the UK through traditional channels is VERY expensive. I speak from experience.
